This is purely about spaza shop owners not valuing the life of a poor person. Expired food is not allowed to be sold anywhere and therefore whoever sells it, no matter how cheap, should be arrested.

One important element in this discussion is market segmentation or stratification of the market and food chain and distribution. The manner in which our communities are stratified make affluent communities have first hand diliveries and second in status communities will recieved distribution in line with their status. When all thiese food near lapse in terms of shelve life, they are taken to surrounding townships and lastly to rural communities. This cycle of distribution is maintained until food is totally of no value.

The government have to increase Social grant money as soon as possible cause technology is taking over
