I think AHS is still a great show, and no season has been "bad", they're just all very different. And Sarah Paulson is freaking amazing. But god I miss Jessica Lange.

Asylum was filled with great scares and shocking twist and turns. Coven was a lot of fun with scares mixed in. Freak Show had strong villains and characters. Hotel had tons of gore,a serial killer dinner and Liz Taylor. Roanoke has strong flashbacks and a great villain. Murder House had interesting characters and a mysterious plot. Cult has an interesting political commentary on American with strong characters and scary clowns.
Funny how Lana Winters will probably never know that she not only was in a room by herself but holding a full on conversation (Including sass) With satan himself and lived unscathed!
I don’t get why Sister Mary Eunice was kinda cast aside in the plot. You’d think the Devil would play more of a major role and last at least until the last episode.
I actually appreciate that one of the reasons ‘Asylum’ works so well is that it starts wrapping up storylines in the 10th episode, giving ample time to resolve the storyline(s). This is something that they failed to do after, and it became a real problem. One of the reasons that ‘Coven’ starts so strong and ends up a mess.
I actually liked Satan being here just to mess with everyone, like he's doing all this merely to have fun. He became less interesting when he tried to convince Monseigneur to become pope and to have him by his side. That would have worked if the entire season was around the Devil, but that wasn't the case here

anyone notice how eunice mentioned billy porter? and in season 8, one of the warlocks is played by the actor billy porter???? Ik that the actor was only a baby during the time of asylum, but idk seems a bit fishy...
Yeah that caught my attention as well when she mentioned it, my mind went to; who was he again? was he a character or the actor? The actor indeed so sadly it doesn't seem like an easter egg, would be nice. Maybe we can see Aunt Celeste portrayed by Jessica Lange in Season 9/The Alien Season? Jessica serving draino margherita's would make for good TV
@Ryan Wilson Back in the day, they would inject women's urine into a rabbit. If it died, then that means the woman was pregnant. Super unreliable and they killed the rabbit regardless.

Never heard of that one before...so basically, if there wasn't a real way to figure something out at that time, people would make up make-believe ways to give them the illusion that they could find the answer to something.

lily rabe is amazing. she have two mannerisms for each character. mary eunice before and after, the way they talk and walk totally different.

Their voice is so different. Even when possessed Mary tries to act nice and kind and gentle her voice is much deeper than before.
She's a pretty rare actress; her ability to inhabit the character she portrays is almost supernatural!
