But, that doesn't stop Anthony from wishing death on others. Vacation talk and "Did Jimmy get his Robert Plant Photo?" The important questions. What price? People think Jim is completely insane. "Too bad".

I could tell this was shortly before the first big Opie/Jim fight just by the way Opie and Jim were talking to each other. Their dynamic really changed after that. I have listened to way too much of this show.
I think you're right.. Remember how impossibly arrogant Opie was back then? Like he was the star, & everyone else was lucky to be under his wing... He was such a douche to Jimmy back then too.. They stopped giving Opie a pass shortly after.

@@tobymcgroby8967 yeah you both are spot on that first major blowout did change the dynamic a bit, at that point they were on XM I think the paid channel so basically were doing a small podcast for a group of obsessed fans that all lived on the msg boards. The Opie hate really started coming into its own back then, his brother even had to go on there to defend him after the Jimmy fight. But yeah must’ve been rough knowing this whole community is now shitting on and critiquing everything you do lol
@@tobymcgroby8967 what was their first fight? Do you have a link? The only fight on air I remember is the one when Esther Ku was in the studio before they split up and did separate shows. I know Opie and Ant had a couple on air blow outs and even Jimmy and Ant had a heated argument before.

@@tobymcgroby8967 lol come on he was insecure about the more recent pics and the fans destroyed him for everything (Opies tits, etc) so I can see that, and he probably shouldn’t have cried but fuck it’s his life that gig and that shit built up for years and it came out on air and he got emotional big deal; Jimmy sat there in fucking silence like a worm cuz he knew anything he might say would be interpreted as taking up for Opie and could loose more of the shrinking fan base to come to his gigs. He was only worried about how he would be perceived in that instance and the only thing he could utter was emphatic defense for Anthony, who absolutely did destroy the OnA show with his actions leading up
Jimmy said in a clip (years later), how friends and family asked him if Opie hated him, after tuning in to some of their shows. I see why. Ope is dripping in passive aggressive hatred.
Perfect example here of just how insane and creepy Jimmy was with that celebrity photo shit, he would legit cause so much drama and corporate people and execs even would have to be consumed with his obsession. Listen to this story here, XM workers who are preoccupied with bringing in the Led Zepplin dude and ensuring it all goes well for the company are being hampered and put at risk even just to appease him, he was the third mic on their show then. Opie the show lead was disregarded and got a picture with him as an aside, because the XM people were all so consumed with just Jimmys due to his antagonism. I don’t have an issue with it we all know it’s his deal, but I still just will never quite understand his level of hatred towards Opie in the end when he was Always being appeased and taken amazing care of.

As a person with OCD I can tell this is Jimmy's obsession and making other people suffer is not a good thing.
It's not OCD, it's insecurity. He feels like a real person, a successful person, if he has hundreds of pictures with himself and celebrities in his house. His self-esteem was so low. The photos were also a tool to impress whomever he took back to his apartment and facilitated his sex addiction.
The idea of plant talking to somebody and opie ducking down walking between them is so hilarious and awkward.
The ending of this when they compare pictures sounds like the business card scene from American Psycho.
This show is unlistenable without Ant + Jim + at least 1 comedian guest.
I can't explain WHY Jimmy's obsession infuriates me, but it just does. The lengths he goes through and the shit he puts everyone around him through for his own selfishness is just pathetic. What a self-centered worm.

It's true. The Opstar has been in a few times with Jimbly and Sean and they do great radio together. Anthony was always the one who steers the ship, and yeah he changed since he had his two kids Anthony Jr, and Anthonilia but we need leadership. I can't wait for Opstar Anthony and Jimbly 2020.

I learned a very long time ago to just understand there's traffic in the morning. So I used to either go to work earlier or just sit in the traffic til I got to work. Luckily I found a job 6 mins from my house and it's out of the city I work in and no traffic heading that way. If there is some reason a hold up the most it takes in 10 - 12 mins. Also I became one of those guys that got to work 15-20 mins before I clocked in cause I like having breakfast and coffee and a cig and just get relaxed before having to work all day. I always felt like my days were way too hectic when I'd clock in just in time and in flying to get there and running in last second to clock in.
And you know what? No one cares. Thanks for sharing.
