    When you think of the bodybuilding landscape in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, one name rises above all the rest: Ronnie Coleman. For nearly a decade, “The King” laid waste to his competition, securing a record eight Mr. Olympia titles (tied with Lee Haney) and 26 pro wins during a career that revolutionized the entire sport.
    Beyond his performances on the stage, Coleman is also remembered among pure strength athletes as one of the strongest bodybuilders ever.
    Ronald Dean Coleman (born May 13, 1964) is an American retired professional bodybuilder. The winner of the Mr. Olympia title for eight consecutive years, he is widely regarded as either the greatest bodybuilder of all time or one of the two greatest along with Arnold Schwarzenegger and as the most dominant bodybuilding physique ever to grace the stage.
    Winner of 26 IFBB professional titles, he is also renowned for his combination of size and conditioning, dominant body-parts and extremely heavy workouts, making him the strongest bodybuilder of all time.
    For his dominance and legacy in the world of bodybuilding, Coleman was inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame in 2016 and was bestowed with the 'Arnold Classic Lifetime Achievement Award' in 2021.

    This was so well done. I was afraid that you might end it by highlighting his injuries and inability to move around without excruciating pain, but you didn’t, and that’s what really makes this stand out. He’s said publicly so many times that his only regret is not squatting 800lbs more times. He put it all on the line to be the best and the best he WAS and IS. I really hope you make more of these. Personally I’d love to see a deep dive on Lee Preist, Dennis Wolf, Kai Greene and so many more.

      Arnold's the most prolific personality from bodybuilding, but definitely not the GOAT. He was the GOAT in 1975 and that's where it ended. A great American story, which he betrayed during the initial months of the covid plandemic, where he in graciously betrayed the nation of his opportunities by exclaiming: "SCREW YOUR FREEDOM!"
      What a fukking D'bag.

    • @cubencis
      @cubencis 2 месяца назад +69

      No, most people in the sport do believe him. He’s not the only person to turn pro as a natural. But from the period where he said, he started using he put on almost 100 pounds. It would make sense that that kind of growth came from adding compounds.
      And if you look at a lot of top guys like Nick Walker and Shaun Clarida today, that’s about the amount they put on from their start
