I agree. These are very underrated comics on the all time list. Especially Gilbert I think people get wrapped up in to his voice and forget what a brilliant comedian he is
Yeah for sure way too soon, such a funny guy and his podcast is worth a listen if you haven't heard it. Listened for years and it was a great tribute to old Hollywood.
Thought Beetlejuice died..I heard he bit the corner of his siding on his kitchen floor. Impailed by his snaggletooth. That's what hamsters do out of depression..
Last year, before lockdown hit, Gilbert did a show at a diner here in North Jersey. They have a party room and sometimes have a local standup show. I was out of town unfortunately, but it had to be a surreal experience.
I drive my wife crazy doing the same thing! Watching Twilight zone or Rifleman for example. So many actors started on these shows- then re-used the same actors in like 10 diff roles in the same show! 😂 I Google constantly when I recognize old actors.
The second you saw Gilbert your laughing. He didn't say anything yet and your just ready to laugh. He was that good. Thanks for the laughs Gilbert you were amazing!
Anytime Gilbert is with Ant or Artie or Norm it is just a freaking riot. Just laugh your ass off with them. Of course with the references you need to have been born before 1977.
Hearing Gilbert makes me think of some of the shit he did on stern show when it was listenable. Some of Howard’s best shows. Best guest bar none on his show.
you guys, i met Larry Storch when I was a kid, he came to my school along with some stunt guys to show us what stunt men did as part of a community cop program, where we did the 'Big Howdy' hand wave, lol! I met my nerdy movie buff buddie at a theater and he was wearing one of those hats. Good times! Gilbert Gottfried, I thought you were dead, so good to see you alive and joking and remembering the Good times too! Right on! I've always sort of felt like Leo Gorcy in true life!
I remember hating his work so much when I seen him on the newly recasted Saturday Night Live. 😂 I was happy when he found his "character". Thanx for the laughs Gilbert.
A genuinely funny guy. I didn't appreciate him until the last 10 years or so, but he's been at it for a long long time. RIP, the world lost one of the greats.
That was the Paul Lynde Halloween Special towards the end of this clip. KISS was featured and is cited as a landmark event when many first became a KISS fan.
Gilbert isn’t woke enough to be on stern..stern would rather have 2 hour interviews with Billie eilish and talk about how great Pete Davidson is..he sucks so bad now
Gilbert and Cumia together were magic, sad that they didn´t have more time together. Every one of their interactions was great comedy x 1000. Cumia should continue Gilbert Colossal podcast, he would be great!
love this talk about classic sitcoms. could listen for hours and hours...shows like small wonder were so niche....awesome references...little rascals etc. this was a great listen....liberace fascinated me as a kid ...I didn't know what to make of him and I used to ask my father why he was so weird...my father said he was a bit happy ....70s and 80s were a great time because stars from early Hollywood and Vegas shows as well as Broadway was still around to mingle with people like sly stone on the Mike Douglas show. totie fields commenting on gene simmons in full Kiss makeup having a hook nose. she told him he couldn't go her , she knows he's a nice Jewish boy . I mean it was just like Anthony said...a Fellini movie..all through a haze of cigarette smoke and clanking glasses full of scotch on the rocks.
Anthony talking about Hollywood failures on stage doing stand-up, and he's doing stand-up and dying on stage. You gotta know your lane: Anthony is a genius sitting behind a mic.
Gilbert is always the best guest on any show. Recently re-watched him on Norm MacDonald Live. One of the best episodes.
Regularly slays - he and Anthony magic together.
I've watched that episode at least ten times. It's better than 99% of comedy "Specials".
Anthony, Artie Lange, and Gilbert did a hysterical show a couple of years ago.
In the late 80s he was hysterical on Stern I was in high school, but listend in the summer great radio.
Have no idea why Gilbert won't have Norm on his podcast.
Gilbert got that microphone for $4.99 at Walmart.
He got tricked for $4.99 buying that mic.
Well, he's jewish
You don’t even know how to spell your own Christian name, Junie
@@Meshuggapeth someone had Corrado or do you know how this works since you're a know it all
Compliments his tinny grating voice.
It’s great to watch Anthony with somebody who can actually keep up with him.
They both almost fake laugh as much as the other!
I feel the same when Gavin is on the show
I agree. These are very underrated comics on the all time list. Especially Gilbert I think people get wrapped up in to his voice and forget what a brilliant comedian he is
RIP Gilbert! A true legend gone way too soon.
Yeah for sure way too soon, such a funny guy and his podcast is worth a listen if you haven't heard it. Listened for years and it was a great tribute to old Hollywood.
God always takes the funny ones
He was so original, he delivered Great Comedy! RIP
I love Gilbert's obscure references and that Anthony gets them, great chemistry.
They are so funny!
I love his George E Jesel Impression.
“Hello MAMA, this is Georgie,” almost a century old,
Watch him on Rogans podcast. I like Rogan but Jesus Christ the whole thing was a giant whooooosh over rogans head
Gilbert’s been killing it for more than 40 years now. Thank you Ant, please have Mr Gottfried on your show more 👌🏼
He can't have them on the show more he died
I haven't laughed this freaking hard in so long. RIP Gilbert.
I was born in 85' and still find all of Gilberts obtuse references hilarious, i'll miss him.
Two hilarious people having fun... They dont make em like they used to anymore *sigh*
tssss strdy night live killin it _tsss_
Idk how this hasn’t been taken off RUclips or at least age restricted, but I’m very glad neither has happened 😂
Gilbert’s knowledge of pop culture history is phenomenal! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time! Excellent!
I know virtually none of his F troop and Milton Berle references, and it's still hilarious.
@Handsome T To be specific, I meant the F troop and Milton Berle and Bowrey Boys references.
@@paulfroelich1024I started watching the Bowery Boys movies because of Gilbert!!!!!
I could listen to cumia and gilbert 4 hours aday. They need to do compound media together
Ant should have him on once a week and just let it fly.
I don't know about anyone else, but we need to have a re-union with Gilbert Gottfried and Beetlejuice, it would be goo for me🤣
I can get Triller to produce it.
Beetlejuice is a total boss. He completely dismissed Gilbert and it just made him even more desperate for Beet's approval.
Lol
I missed laughing
Thought Beetlejuice died..I heard he bit the corner of his siding on his kitchen floor. Impailed by his snaggletooth. That's what hamsters do out of depression..
First time I ever heard the ‘ARISTOCRATS’ was gottfrieds standup... I was blown away
He’s an old legend
Playing this in the background and just imaging Anthony talking to a parrot on his shoulder.
Gilbert is a comedy legend
Last year, before lockdown hit, Gilbert did a show at a diner here in North Jersey. They have a party room and sometimes have a local standup show. I was out of town unfortunately, but it had to be a surreal experience.
OMG, thanks for the trip down memory lane. This is a keeper!!
Good shit!! Anthony's back. 😂 Gilbert saying "dissing me" is just funny to me
Just commenting to see if the algorithm is picking up 'schwoogie' yet 😏
Anytime it's Gilbert, I'm there!
You guys just made my frigging week. Now I'm going to have to do a Barney Miller/Soap and the Munsters marathon this weekend. PERFECT
I haven't laughed this hard since I saw Joe Joe fall down the stairs of Air Force One.
Up.....he fell up the stairs! What a brain dead moron he is.
I drive my wife crazy doing the same thing! Watching Twilight zone or Rifleman for example. So many actors started on these shows- then re-used the same actors in like 10 diff roles in the same show! 😂 I Google constantly when I recognize old actors.
Hell, I remember Jeffrey Tambor playing like 3 different roles on Threes Company throughout its run.
Gilbert could read the phone book and it would be hilarious.
Great Combo
Ant is so quick that the more obscure things get, the funnier they become.
This is the best. RIP, Gilbert and thanks for the many laughs over the years.
Thank you Ant! Great way to start my day. I’ve put my sub off long enough. It’s coming right after I watch this hilarious shit!
The second you saw Gilbert your laughing. He didn't say anything yet and your just ready to laugh. He was that good. Thanks for the laughs Gilbert you were amazing!
Bob Hope in that Jack Frost looked like Charlie Manson in his later years😂
thought it was just me lol
Just got home from working graveyards...needed this good laugh!!
What a great surprise to wake up to.
Thank you !
Sucks so much that Gilbert passed away. Always absolutely hilarious and one of the biggest losses to comedy. Rest in Peace Gilbert Gottfried ♥️
Anytime Gilbert is with Ant or Artie or Norm it is just a freaking riot. Just laugh your ass off with them. Of course with the references you need to have been born before 1977.
Gilbert the Legend! Him on the Roast of Roaseanne was one of the funniest things ever done in comedy!!!!
Hearing Gilbert makes me think of some of the shit he did on stern show when it was listenable. Some of Howard’s best shows. Best guest bar none on his show.
Gilbert was probably Howard’s best comedic guest.
@@CompoundMedia agreed.
Rabbi Gilbert made me literally vomit from laughter
Dracula Gottfried and Jerry Seinfeld
@@CompoundMedia
When he and Howard were pretending to be synagogue cantors was a riot... l was laughing so hard my sides hurt.
This episode had me laughing so hard my jaws hurt.. I wish Gilbert could be permanent guest host
Same
Man, do I miss Gilbert.

Prepare for a cackle fest.
Gilbert is the best when he's in this kind of environment
Gilbert & Anthony twice in one week. Tremendous stuff.
I sincerely love these men lol
God damn... if Gilbert was a permanent co-host, I would die from laughing too hard to breathe. I LOVE that guy!! Funniest dude alive.
The Marc "Skippy" Price reference made me spit out my coffee
This never gets old. Thank you so much.😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a great interview.
I remember hating his work so much when I seen him on the newly recasted Saturday Night Live. 😂 I was happy when he found his "character". Thanx for the laughs Gilbert.
Man I swear too many people are missing out on this hilarity lmfao 😆😆😆😆 ☠️☠️
Watching this now for the 4th time through. Watched it on the platform and on here. This is hilarious!
😂 you guys are so great together! Such a funny interview!
"That prick!" Regarding Kingsley. Priceless. 😂
Might be the greatest media and biggest laugh since classic o and a!
Gilbert was the best!
Gilbert Gottfried saying "Now he's blowing himself!" 😂😂😂😂
A genuinely funny guy. I didn't appreciate him until the last 10 years or so, but he's been at it for a long long time. RIP, the world lost one of the greats.
This was hilarious!
Gilbert is one of them comedians that’s fuckin hilarious in conversation and I think that’s the real yard stick measurement. Norm had it in spades too
won't see that title again!
That was the Paul Lynde Halloween Special towards the end of this clip. KISS was featured and is cited as a landmark event when many first became a KISS fan.
Opie would be like "alright alright alright! We gotta take some calls"
I've watched this three times now. Still laughing my ass off.
I love how Gilbert’s microphone is constantly clipping.
Those vinears are on point. I need me some!
Gilbert rules! One of the funniest guests on any show ever. Now I see why he’s not on Stern anymore. Would make the show far too funny and irreverent.
Gilbert isn’t woke enough to be on stern..stern would rather have 2 hour interviews with Billie eilish and talk about how great Pete Davidson is..he sucks so bad now
Going back to binge all these Gilbert interviews. These two were hilarious riffing off each other
Gilbert was comedic gold!
Always a good talk with Ant and Gottfried they always make funny content
Gilbert is always great and this was so funny. I keep pausing it cuz I don't want the interview to end.
Gilbert seems like a guy that just loves life to me. 👍🇨🇦
Anytime Anthony and Gilbert are together it is absolutely perfection!! I would love them and Jim Norton to do a show!
President of the Tracy Morgan Fan Club.
Nobody does it better the Mr. Mohr
Gilbert and Cumia together were magic, sad that they didn´t have more time together. Every one of their interactions was great comedy x 1000. Cumia should continue Gilbert Colossal podcast, he would be great!
Always an honor when the Professor stops in.
That's Buckwheat not Stymie!!!...Hahahaha!!!!
RIP, Gilbert. This was amazing banter
comedy gold not one dull moment in the entire hour! we miss you Gilbert.
The only thing better than this is TACS episode with Gilbert and Artie
Gilbert told that Bob Hope story on his podcast a long time ago and it's still fucking hilarious.
I’m loving this show.. 👍🏾
Ant is my favorite. Nobody beats his riffs. Gilbert is great with ant
Can't wait for Gilbert's next appearance
Oh Gilbert! HAHAHA! Ant bring him on as as regular like the Patrice days!!
“Because Chico needed the Money”
Thank God he chose Cumia and not the Rogan podcast, we’d be listening to elk hunting stories now.
Rogan sucks
@@debbieskrletts725 For a supposed comic he doesn’t provide alot of laughs
Lol this had me dying laughing 🤣
The video title now makes it sound like Gilbert is Jesus
Straight from Gilbert's bathroom where he made $2 million dollars worth of cameo videos...
Gilbert...the best!!
Great to watch. Love the chemistry and laughter
I wet my pants and spit coffee through my nose 5 minutes into this.
and then you pressed "play"
Gilbert stayed on brand forever. My man didn't even shill out a few extra bucks for a half decent webcam. I love him. Rest easy legend
this was the one clip of Gilbert my brain wanted to see hearing he passed RIP
I would like Ant to pick Gilbert's brain about his time working with MC Serch since Ant was such a huge fan of Serch's talk show.
gilbert is almost a hero to me and so is anthony, they are some of the last few guys who dont care about pc culture and will laugh right in its face
great stuff!
