Picking up the horse?
I hit a horse with a dealers loaner once, rolled it onto the hood. Horse rolled off and ran away. Luckily I was going real slow it was dark out. Caved the hood where the horse laid on the hood but that was all.

They Smoke in other States too On Ambulances . But the state Of New Jersey Health Dept has Cracked down On Smoking On EMTs

This was different, I feel sorry for the horse. That I know, when it is pitch black outside, slow down and be aware that their may be animals on the road. Good recovery. Be safe 🙏 Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
It’s dark out there. I can see how you could miss a horse dead in the road. Poor horse. But at least the EMTs weren’t hurt.

My wife hit a deer that was laying dead in her lane of the highway with a Yaris (about 3 inches off of the ground). She was going about 70 mph, and didn’t have time to react. It did about $4,000 worth of damage (in the ‘90s) and the mechanic said that before he worked on the car, he had to power wash the underside to get all the deer guts off! My wife had also notified the highway patrol, and they said that there wasn’t any deer remains left on the road after she had hit it!
A deer hit my semi truck doin 70... it was a white truck before, red afterwards! whole passenger side was full of fur... truck was was NOT happy!

Wood under the tires when the rear is touching learned that one the hard way as a light duty driver
Those cows and horses definitely cause a lot of damage. We had to get a Toyota Corolla that had hit a horse a few months ago. It was definitely a sight to see the horse in the middle of the road.
did cops/ems atleast tarp it up so noone can see it?
