I'm a woman working 10-12hr shifts in construction. My foreman doesn't like me & has called the main office to complain instead of talking to our super independent. Alot of peple at work have started lies & rumors about me. 1 rumor was that I was being a non-profit prostitute on the jobsite, it almost got me fired til I asked the super independent on the jobsite (not my super independent) "where am I every time you come around checking on the crew?" Do you think I am so stupid to be doing the nasty for free w/o protection in a nasty stinky porto-potty?...the 2 questions got an investigation started & found out who started the rumor & sent the person to a different jobsite & state. I love my job but due to the rumors & lies I'm no longer happy to even go to work, I call off alot due to headaches & stomach issues cuz of the stress.
