Only a special type of the human race can admire the information in this video. The curiosity of the youth is headed the wrong way. Flawless video sir.
Thank you Carl for your expertise and easy to follow tutorials. As I retired from the workforce and started playing with heavy equipment I had limited experience on the hydraulics I soon started my search and knowledge your lunchbox sessions became my go to ! I recommend them to anyone that has equipment
Thanks again from Prosser Wa
Awesome illustration, Thanks for careful description for how inside parts works
Thank you Carl once again for your Masterclass in this dates. Very appreciated, regards from Barcelona, Spain
Jordi Perez, thanks so much for the kind words. Our team works hard on the many details. Tues May 12 at 18:00 GMT is the next one,
thank you for your time to help us with your videos im from Marrakech Morocco
Another great video, thank you from Australia
Welcome, teacher. Thank you very much for what you mentioned about hydraulics. I hope you can also present about hydraulics in heavy cat equipment.
Excellent video and excellent teaching skills......Greetings from Pakistan.......Just i would like to add that same joysticks were used in old fighter aircrafts to control FCS. Now, modern aircrafts still rely on same hydraulics but with slight modifications in control i.e when pilot turns the control column /joystick, command goes to the ECAM that performs same pilot operated function )(hydraulics), commonly known as "fly by wire " system.......Please keep us educating......Once again, thank you very much for sparing your valuable time....
Love your videos has helped me in my career greatly
Honestly, I just finished watching it. And I've almost watched the past few episodes as well. It is a great help to further develop this understanding. Two years ago I was an Engineering technician at an Industrial plant for over two years. Almost all mechanical motions are hydraulic. As I watched your videos, it came to my mind again. Thank you for this teaching of knowledge. I'm from the Philippines. And now I'm a Service Technician in a Company.
Kier John Alba thank you. All of us here at LunchBoxSessions wish you well with your technician work in the Philippines!
Gud day kabayan im a tokayo from QC,san company ka connected? Natuwa lng ako kc may kbayan ako na same interest w/ subject of hydraulics.
Ah , yes Sir.... As of now , nasa isang Company nmn po ako na ang mini maintenance ay mga Srew type Air Compressor po. As part of my scope of work. Mostly sa Electrical works po ako (Motor Control , Electromechanical , Electrical Power Supply , Etc...) Since , 2014 nagkaroon na po ako ng interest sa Hydraulics. Till now... Kaya halos nakasubaybay po ako dito. Nice to met you Sir. Keep safe.
Hello I am from Cal. It’s a great session. Thank to Lunchbox
Our pleasure!
Thanks for this video. I’m from Iraq.
You people who are involved in making these amazing resources are excellent and amazing in explaining and sharing your knowledge. God Bless you All. Love from Bangladesh
Great! video class thank you.
Thank you so much sir carl for sharing your knowledge to us..more power to you and god bless your family
I love you guy. You have deliver the subject precisely. I wish that it will continue in the future to educate and shre knowledge to interesting people. God bless your company, the team that make this video possible. Thank you very much.
emmanuel carrera I’m glad that you find the videos helpful. Thanks also for the kind words for our team.
Your videos are awesome. I was wondering if you are going to do some on the electrical side of hydraulics. Like how to wire up and dealing with PLCs.
Great! video class thank you from UAE
send you my thanks fron Egypt ... so usueful lectures .. thx again
I guess,b no can have doubts after getting such great quality teaching from you
Had no idea just how advanced my 35-year-old ASV track trucks hydraulic system truly is. 😊
A nice session like very much way of teaching very good.
ARUN TIWARI thanks for the kind words
Good job tips
Watching from Sydney
Great 👍
I would really enjoy a video for pilot operated joystick controls for large excavators. (Mine do not have a tank connection at joystick). Hamworthy/hydreco system.
Thanks Sir
thank you much help
Very very nise good working thanks
dipak bhalodia that’s very kind of you.
I would like to say you cleared alot of things I was trying to understand.
If you please if you can explain more stuff regarding Komatsu hydraulic system.
I'm working with Komatsu every single day
And I'm Egyptian work with Komatsu New Zealand
Thanks for the explanation Carl. Please could you tell me the manufacturer and part number for the electro-proportional pilot controller valve block?
Hello carl! Thank you so much for your demonstrations. Actually I've been auto, truck, and heavy equipment mechanic over 5 decades but, your video and instructions excites me alot. I have learned a lot and made me a compident hydraulic technician. You enlightened all my questions about hydraulic system.May the almighty god Jehovah bless you.
Cool video presentation
Do you know when and where hydraulic pilot servo control first appeared on any kind of equipment, mobile or industrial?
I know Monsun-Tison (today Parker) introduced the HVP2 pilot control valve around 1973. I also know that Åkerman (excavators) had its own pilot control valve on the full hydraulic excavator H11 in 1965. But before that, I have only seen pneumatic pilot control on an excavator from the early 1960s. Åkerman is today Volvo CE owned. I know the airplane technology used pilot joystick controllers but that was for closed-loop "position control" of rudders ie rudder position proportional to joystick lever position. For mobile hydraulic crane and excavator applications, we are working with actuator motion "speed control" proportional to the joystick lever position.
Love the tutorials keep it up! Just one question... with all those hyd fittings hour do you keep it so clean? 😂
Wesley Hibner we do work to keep the fittings leak free (minimal tapered threads) and our shop (the RUclips Live set) is very clean. But if we take our equipment on the road then the dust does start to become an issue.
awesome excellent
Greetings from Phil.nice you tube channel, very informative. In yourPilot Press Control video, the main hyd valve is just common hyd pilot valve?or it is a special valve to match the Pressure Reducing Manual Joystick valve? Thanks for these tutorial.
if we block the pressure reducing valve , will we get reduced pressure , or is the main spool spring will determine the reduced pressure ? Thanks for clarifying
Thanks so much. Im from algeria .
I want to ask , example that we have fully contaminated system how can we clean it and solve the issue. System contains tank long hose valve bank directional valves cylinders motors.... sun hydraulic cartridges
Hi from India. Could an orifice really control the speed of oil in the pilot line opening a pilot check valve and make it slower than it was before using an orifice.
hi.. can you tel me a bit mor about joistic control supply... it is clear for pressure but what about flow? and from where usally is taken this flow, from gear pump ?
I dont understand why two Springs used in each valve inside the joystick
Thinks lunchboxsessions
Pilot Pressure Control: Manual Joysticks to Electronics
We fine out that our 322CL wouldn't swing, and cheek we see that the hydraulic fluid pressure is low
Is the sound off?
Ghana 🇬🇭
Send the drilling equipment off Epiroc mining equipment hydraulic system
😃😃😃😃
When hi pull back the joj sfi k going up slow
Ok
