I guess there may have been some aspects of IEMs I did not know about haha. Regardless, I want to thank you all for the comments! Being somewhat deaf in my left ear, I may focus on comfort in any follow-up videos. Thanks again!
He waiting a whole 9 months to decide which are better. He had this video cooking like a baby. That is how you know he cares about the result, and his viewers!!❤
Some of the problems are kz specific like the itchy ears, small soundstage and similar sound quality as your gaming headphones(which is indeed considered the worse sound you can get in audiophile community). Other brands like truthear hexa, even i think 7hz zero at 20 dollars have better sound quality than zs10 pro. Zs10 pros has a tad bit better imaging due to its super shouty treble peaks and BA timbre.
Fiio UTWS5 (also provides on-board channel balance)/iFi Go Pods + Creative BT-W5 + IEM of choice. The only downside being the limited battery, so no all day gaming sessions, but for short bursts or playing a few hours on the go (ie steam deck) I find this combo quite appealing
For a first video I have to say it is amazing, very cool editing and neat setup you got! As far as IEMS, would you consider yours to be bassy? Im trying to get into this world and I'm kinda overwhelmed with the amount of IEMS and price ranges, but I want ones with emphasis on the base.
Try out Sennheiser open ear headphones. They're bulletproof. I've had my pair for 10 years. They're perfect for what you want, the open ear design makes them lighter than normal headphones and have really good audio quality.
Second this. In addition to being comfortable for hours and hours, the open back gives you a great sound stage that also makes for good directional sound in games. Also, they are amazing with music. I recommend the 560S as a solid pair to start
Even the sub 10$ iems are better than a HyperX headset. I suggest you don't use the cheap IEMs with BA drivers, they irritate my ears. Try the QKZ x HBB for bass and soundstage, and Truthear Hola for a neutral sound with a slight bass boost. The Holas are really light and comfortable, make sure to use the right eartips for you. Both are 20$ or less
Also if your sound card sucks or you want a combined jack and multimedia button functionality try a CX31993 dongle, the Openheart one preferably, they come with a Type C to A adapter. The dongle even powers big headphones effectively.
Been using IEMs for years and I will never have the feeling that they are particularly comfortable to me. I just don't like having something inside my ears. I still deal with it though because I like the sound and the isolation with them. I can just zone out with them way easier compared to headphones.
there is a decent amount of streamers/pro players that have used the wired apple earpods for playing games and people say that the sound isnt that bad and that they are very comfortable (I havent tried out using apple earpods personally for gaming but I have used them a ton for just general use and they are nice)
Thats true the wired earpods are amazing. I can hear enemies around me perfectly clear. Most importantly they’re very comfortable, cheap, and easy to clean.
Can you help me with how long you usually use them? I have used normal earbuds or neckbands but want to make a switch. Are they good for like 8-10 hours? Or 6? Or is it harmful?
Itchy ears might be from the lower quality wire from the KZ zs10 pro or the earbuds tips if the itch is from inside, there are more premium options but they will cost you

Keep up the good work mate! I liked your video. Its really cool and entertaining. Though, its really sad that you got ripped off bruh, i mean, in indonesia, you can get the kz zs10 pro and zs10 pro x with just 33$, so sad for you bruh. My advice is you need to research the price for your iem thoroughly so you didn't get ripped off in the next time😊
great video! and I just wanted to ask you real quick. right now I am thinking of switching from dt 770 pro to sennheiser ie 400 iems. and the only question I got here is do I need an amp to prove the sound and the quality with this iems? or is the GOXLR mini enough to handle it all?
The GOXLR Mini is more than enough to support it all. This has to do with the impedance level of the headphones, aka ohms. GOXLR Mini supports up to 300 ohms.
From experience don’t kno the exact model, friend wanted to me to try hismhyperx headset he thought was good 😅😅😅 total crap audio lol. Same audio you can get from any headphones for 20-40$

You cant compare 7hz salnotes single DD against a multi BA + DD
@@CePa_Gon what's the point of shoving a dozed BA if it's gonna sound worse than a single dd anyways.
@@CePa_Gon actually only one driver in kz iem works

An absolute unit when it comes to the gym, IEMs, gaming and content.

Have you tried using foam tips to see if they help reduce the itching?
definitely getting me some IEMS!
Great vid! Very helpful to hear your experience with the two
If you're getting itchy ears you might consider trying a different material for the tips? Maybe switch to foam or a different type of silicone
Do you often clean your IEM tips? because it sound to me that your itch come from poor tips maintenance

I really appreciate it! I do consider the ZS10s to be a bit bass emphasized so if you do choose to buy them I hope this helps.
have you tried the foam tips ? they blow away the tips that come with it

I second open back headphones.
You don't "need" sennheiser but they are very good quality.
Beyerdynamic, hifiman are also quite nice
I must use the smaller tips to prevent my ear canals became more sore than they were when using iem
also do you have bad white noise using the elgato wave? I do.. which is why im asking

The Truthear Hola's mic is more than enough for me, but you can also use a HAMA clip-on mic that also holds your iem cable onto your shirt as a bonus.

I would recommend getting some foam eartips because they move around less, so your ears don’t get itchy. Great video though!
KZ also makes Bluetooth module for iems

Dude IEMs can be wireless too
Vincent Phillips is the GOAT of IEM draggers 😤😤😤
i recommend Moondrop Lan for IEM, great soundstage for gaming

Use CCA BTX adapter 😁
I dont know if its a pro or a con, I have to clean my ears way often now
Yes, I had the same thing lol
Not to be rude, but the kz zs10 are trash in current iem standards.
Itchy ears might be from the lower quality wire from the KZ zs10 pro or the earbuds tips if the itch is from inside, there are more premium options but they will cost you
I would say the eartips are at fault. But I’m curious, what is your better alternative for IEMs/eartips? Maybe I’ll check them out.

There are blutooth adaptor for items to convert them to tws
That HyperX headset is terrible, it also has leatherette earpads which are a hot sticky uncomfortable mess

Wireless iem is bad cause the frequency and radioactive will distord while playing musical or maybe some game
