While doing the psijic quest for the 4876th time, I heard the augur of the obscure say "Did you know there are six and a half quadrillion grains of sand in the Alik'r?". We can use this to get the CANON size of this desert :
If you go with the US version of a quadrillion, the Alik'r would be 375m long (using the Sahara's lenght considering the shape is similar). If you use the British and therefore right way of counting, the desert is 375 million meters long (around 9371 times Earth's circumference), wich makes the imperial army's "March of Thirst" the second longest distance anyone has ever walked. The first one being, of course, the distance I had to run in Cyrodiil because I was in combat

You didn't show your maths. :(
Augur of the Obscure does indeed say that.
There are approximately 15,625,000,000 grains of sand in a cubic metre.
Average depth of Sahara desert is 20-40m before bedrock. So, let's assume 30m average depth in Alik'r Desert.
Alik'r Desert is approximately a rectangle in a 13° angle. Adjusting the angle and checking the width/height ratio it's about 2.15x1. Some of it is sea, since it's not a perfect rectangle. So for ease of calculation, let's say 2x1 ratio.
      6,5 quadrillion is:
      6,500,000,000,000,000 in the US.
      6,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 in the UK.
      This means:
416,000 cubic metres in the US.
416,000,000,000,000 cubic metres in the UK.
With the average depth of 30 metres, this comes to:
13,867 square metres in the US
13,866,666,666,666 square metres in the UK
      In square kilometres, that is:
      0,013867 km² in the US
      13,866,666 km² in the UK
We can safely say Alik'r Desert is not the size of Berlin Central Train Station (Berlin Hbf), which is about 0,0135 km². Therefore, the augur of obscure must use the UK measurements.
About 14 million km² in 2:1 ratio is about: 5,200 km by 2,600 km.
Sahara desert is about 9 million km² and about 4,800 km by 1,800 km, so that checks out.
Alik'r Desert is about 50% larger than the Sahara Desert.

I was gladdened when he said sturdy is very good for players with very high ping. In my case my normal ping is between 250-999 so putting sturdy on small pieces was the best choice. I live in Southeast Asia.

Thank you for all your videos and your support to community! What about Imperial Race? How close are they compared to Nord? Isn't true that Imperial race has better recources economy than Nord?

They're somewhat close to Nords once you adjust your build to get armor from somewhere else. No they do not have better resource economy, because even though they have sustain racials they'll have to devote other parts of their build towards getting the missing armor and lose sustain in the process

Too bad no guide on gear, abilities, cp, etc will actually make me not freeze and/or panic once dropped into combat :D Would it be possible to do a very, very basic guide on how to learn the flow of combat as a tank? How to actually stack mobs well, etc? I'm always fumbling around like crazy and can do only easy content as a result with no progress in my skills.

Are you serious Hyperioxes? Do you forget the old TESO positioning line rule [the old TESO tutorial for bosses are still online]: TANK on front facing boss, DDs stack back Tank, Healers stack back DDs. It is amazing how wrong is this video. This scribe IS JUST FOR HEALERS. Hiperioxes, maybe do you NEED BE CLEAR about the average/alternative positioning today: Tank taunting boss face away from DD and Healers, DDs stacking on boss back, one Healer on back DD, one Healer for Tank or kiting.

Question: is it bad to run two trials sets at once. For example Lucent and pearl

  • @spymate
    @spymate 25 дней назад +5

Set examples were wrong! The BiS combination of sets for tanks in all scenarios are Leeching Plate + Battalion Defender + Bloodlord’s Embrace + Bloodspawn! Kappa
