Pheicou has a point - there are moments where you clean out ghosts and that's the stage there's gold everywhere and E. Gad calls you back and you can't get the gold.
I love the title screen for this! It's very reminiscent of the first and third games title screens. I hope it changes to each of the 5 mansion as the story progresses because that would be awesome to see.
This is just nostalgia for me. I remember when this came out 11 years ago, and it's literally my comfort game. The art style, the music, even the mission structure... I'm so excited to play it again next week.

Absolutely how it looks despite not looking as great as LM3’s graphics I still love how they remastered the original SFX files and Voice Clips (including retaining Charles Martinet’s original Dark Moon Luigi voice intact!) which’s what classic game remasters or remakes really need! I’m still in questioned if they ever addressed the mission structure issues where originally you were forced out to finish the mission after completing the main objective and not giving the option to either return to the bunker or continue exploring. Other than that, I’m excited nonetheless!

In fact, the reissue appears to lack effort and is not worth the full price, especially considering that there is no new content in this release of the game as far as we know.

A little hint; while you're trying to capture a ghost, you can press B to do a jump which will make you dodge any incoming attacks, that way you don't have to cancel out every time. :))
I like how Nintendo has recently been digging into their back catalog of games and releasing old entries on Switch. Even if this is a fairly barebones remaster, I'm glad to see this game on Switch and I hope Nintendo continues to bring other 3DS titles to the Switch. The pricing for future 3DS rereleases would probably be awful as it is with this game, but it's still nice having official means to play old games without having to wrangle up original hardware and game cards.
This game is underrated as heck. I think it's overshadowed by the first and even the third game. Yeah it's probably the weakest of the trilogy though that's not saying much as I still had a ton of fun with this game and I'm glad it's being remade for the Switch.
@@JadenYukifan28 The Dpad doesn't aim either. You aim verically with motion or the X and B buttons on 3DS. In this new HD version, you can also aim with the right stick.

I wouldn’t blame you. It’s a 3DS game with no new content that they just threw in at full price. But I was a huge fan of the original on 3DS so I’ll be getting this
I recommend just to emulate it on Citra or buy a cheap loose copy for the 3DS and see if you like it there since the structure and pacing of this game is very different from Luigi’s mansion 1 and 3
Why is it when it comes to early gameplay showings for Nintendo games, game news outlets actually play the game well enough to make the game look as fun as it actually is and show off enough of the game's features to properly market the game? And yet when it comes to any other game (especially Sonic), the same news outlets play so poorly and slowly that it makes the game look boring?
Okay thank GOD they reintroduced the option to invert Y-axis I was so annyoyed that in 3 it forced un-inverted Y axis on you because I was used to how in the first game it forced you to use inverted Y-axis

@biondigiacomo7176 they found a way to add 2 extra bosses in the tryd remake, a 20 year old gamcube game, and since LM2 is being priced at 60$ on switch, it's only fair to expect as such After all, Nintendo would take advantage of something like the multilayer aspect of the switch besides, they could've came up with something like "i kept gooigi to keep time travel costs down" or something that shows us he's already experienced LM3 or something All I'm saying is that if a 3ds game is being retailed at the same price as the farly superior sequel, then I expect the game does something to make those 60 bucks worth it. I'd rather play the original LM2 on my 3ds for the same results rather than pay an additional 69 for the same game but there's more pixels on screen

I had the 3DS version of the game and I did like it, but the motion controls were clunky.
The motion was perfect but you don't need to use them in either version so idky ur even complaining about it lol

This remaster is retaining the whole original soundtrack but now in full HD quality unlike in the original being slightly compressed.
