- In this Power BI tutorial, you will learn how to load any cryptocurrency data of your choosing from a vast array of exchanges. The CryptoWatch API provides this data free-of-charge. We are using a free software called Microsoft Power BI to load in a large amount of crypto price data for analysis.

Please make more of this videos on getting interesting data! Curbal has done one on european data not long ago and it is most useful to expand a portfolio!
I most definitely will, Ary. Thanks for the feedback!
Perfect timing ! Just dealing with a project where I need to show crypto portfolio evolution over time and my biggest problem was actually the source of historical data. Thanks!
Awesome Hans, I love to hear it!
Excellent video Parker! Please make the power bi service refreshable version video ;)
Noted! Will do in the near future
@@BIElite great work - did you happen to work on the refreshable version for PBI online? Thanks 😉
Thank you, Parker, for this. This is great and insightful. Using Power BI to create such a robust and dynamic project is huge. How soon are you going to release the Python edition of the process? as promised in the video?
Thank you for your tutorial really helpful ! You did it with BTC but for small decimal chart display like ADA it rounds up to 1 in the table and cannot see exact close price for each day. Do you have a tuto for this subject ?
Hi Parker, great video, thanks!
If I would like to get data from several exchanges, can I retake the steps from getting multpairs?
Awesome video!
Great video !! Thanks. Already waiting for the next one
New subscriber ... Love your work!
Thanks Cyril! Welcome aboard
hello man, thank you very much for this video its amazing, couldn`t have done it without it!! It would be AMAZING to see the auto-refreshable version of it in PBI Service!! 🤓
Hi! Great video! Is it possible to make web update every second or so and also update the visuals? thanks
great content, thanks for sharing. Since this is not refreshable because of the dynamic url, do you have any example or content to provide how to make use of the relative path ? I was trying the examples from Chris Webb but so far without success.
Yes, I will make this video soon!
thank you
When I run the duration custom column code I end up with the last data point being in the future. Is there something that was corrected later that I'm missing? This is the code I'm using = #datetime(1970,1,1,0,0,0) + #duration(0,0,0,[Value.1])
Same here. Could you solve it ?
I have the same problem.
Today's 07.11, and as a resoult I get in 3 rows dates between 08 - 14.11. Why is that? How to fix it?
I tried on diferent exchanges but I still get this wrong date
seems to cost or - do you have a free access
Waiting for python video ❤
Apparently, you CAN run out of your free API credit if you don't filter the pair and try to pull in EVERYTHING... 😒 Trying again in 24 hours... 😔
Haha good to know! Did you try signing up for a free account and authenticating?
@@BIElite I am struggling to autenticate, could you describe how to od it?
too fast! not good explaination
