Pablo once said "I think none of us would have made it this far alone." Josh also saying "We made it.. together". Justin's words "I want us to keep loving each other (magmahalan)". Stell's statement "We wouldn't be here without ATIN" And Ken's bold promise "I will die as an SB10 Member. I love my brothers". I believe SB19 made it becoz of their courage, dedication and brotherhood. Pablo's unbelievable lyricism, Justin's undeniable artistry. Josh's amazing versatility, Stell's unparalleled vocals. And Ken's incomparable moves and bass. All of these tightly wrapped with a strong bond called "brotherhood". That's why they made it... they trusted each other, gave it their all and remained grateful.

Just to (re-)answer your question about the word for FLAG: Yeah, WATAWAT (pronounced like "what-TAH-what") is the native Tagalog word for FLAG. BANDERA, another word mentioned in the chorus, also means FLAG in Tagalog, though it derives from Spanish (the Philippines was a Spanish colony for 3 centuries). BANDERA is related to the English word BANNER.

These MELODIES/Compositions were given to PABLO, who in turn WROTE ALL the LYRICS for those 6 MELODIES..
SB19's 1st Album was followed by their 1st Extended Play, with 6 Tracks, the "PAGSIBOL" (=to sprout from beneath the ground, like a seed) EP. "WHAT?" was their Comeback Single for their 1st "PAGSIBOL EP. ALL the LYRICS of the 6 Songs were Written, the Melodies Composed, Produced or Co-Produced by PABLO❗Please Read the Descriptions of each SB19 MV to know WHO Did WHAT.
"PAGTATAG" (= to strengthen what has been established) is SB19's 2nd EP/Extended Play. Again, ALL the LYRICS of the 6 Songs, Melodies, Production or Co-Production were by done PABLO. Therefore, PABLO WROTE ALL & NOT just SOME of SB19's Original Songs from the 3 Sets of SB19's Released Music.
