I remember listening to this alot in 2009, I was 17, drinking with my buddies in the sunshine, getting high, taking boatrides on the lake. Times that are long gone now..friends I never see.
We lived a very similar life. I was 20, I'm from the UK. I somehow acquired their greatest hits CD and I played it endlessly, lots of times before going out on a Friday / Saturday night. Great memories, great band.
I've seen at least 100 good bands in concert, but the Black Crowes show at the Fox in Atlanta in the late 80's or early 90's was the best I've ever seen. Just a great smooth sound. I remember the big pot leaf coming up behind the stage and everyone loved it.
Im a die hard Crowes fan and i truly believe this is the ultimate line up. I had the pleasure of seeing them at Brixton Academy this year i traveled from Scotland to London to see them and it was worth every penny and every mile. Hail The Black Crowes!
this is a good warm-up for me since the Crowes will be in El Paso, TX tomorrow night and I'll be on the 4th row with a big smile on my face. I'll get back with ya'll on how it was.
saw The Crowes in Philly a few yrs ago ..was absolutely one of thee best shows Ive ever been to.. the best thing is, they're coming back to Philly in Mar of this yr.. got my tixs..excited to say the least! Rock on Crowes! Rich is one of the most underrated musicians ever.imo
awesome... i never noticed the tiny steal your face patch on chris' jeans.... it's official; i am in love with him.... "do you ever like a bad dream? sometimes life is obscene........"
Luther Dickinson was the perfect addition to the Crowes. His technique really brought a new flavor to Warpaint and their continued growth as a band. And Chris as a frontman NEVER ceases to disappoint.
@pintofGaddsplease Saw them in 2002 or 03 on exctasy.I dont want to advocate taking X regularly, but for that show it was fantastic.I took it 45min before they came on,it kicked in just befor their opening song remedy. It felt like I was one with the band.Great experience,no doubt.Take care.
Can´t believe any of RUclips videos of this song hasn´t got at least half a million views. I mean I know the current music world is like one step away from hell, but man, this is totally unacceptable!
One of my favorite bands and songs EVER!!! What a great live footage! BTW how come Rich Robinson always looks upset like someone pissed him off before he hopped onstage :)
cool lerics who wrote them???i,m still living and day bye day getting closer to going back home[HEAVEN BOUND}so pleace tell me who wrote the lerics??? peace be with those who beleave!!!!!! amen
@mauno911 I also can only wonder. People really dont know anymore what good is, be it in music or other areas of life. The Crowes are certainly the best rockn roll band after the stones in the seventies. No doubt about this. Pretty sad that they finsih in 2011
Luther and Ritch both take this show away for me... Actually Ritch's little break down/intro to his solo is just amazing with those syncopated choppy riffs... this song is amazing and this VERSION of this song is beyond amazing...
@Chris J: Get on a stage and play music... Well. You won't BELIEVE the offers you'll get ;) Amazing song amazing version, Luther and Rich KILL it on this vid IMO...
is there such thing as no musical taste? if you dislike something doesnt it mean you have musical tastes, the same as if you liked it? you probably dont like everything i think is good

Luther Dickinson was the perfect addition to the Crowes. His technique really brought a new flavor to Warpaint and their continued growth as a band. And Chris as a frontman NEVER ceases to disappoint.

Then maybe you should check out 'Lions'. An album most fans hate but it's actually quite good.
@zosojimmy1 yes it does
Luther and Ritch both take this show away for me... Actually Ritch's little break down/intro to his solo is just amazing with those syncopated choppy riffs... this song is amazing and this VERSION of this song is beyond amazing...

The offspring of Little Feat for everyone to enjoy
Apparently they changed their mind!
Luther Dickinson from North Mississippi Allstars

Luther dickenson is the man. Chris sounded great as usual
@gipsyontherocks and his disciple's. :)
@tirayi ...Except Danny Carey of Tool. Now, best blues drummer, you have a great point. This cat rocks.

These guys musta spent years studying the stones and the faces everyday...hahahaha
is there such thing as no musical taste? if you dislike something doesnt it mean you have musical tastes, the same as if you liked it? you probably dont like everything i think is good
Who is on lead guitar?
maybe those are trisonics instead of white strat pickups.
something tells me the guitarist here is a dave gilmour fan
his voice aged well
the sounds of northern oppression,
What the hell was Kate Hudson thinking when she left him?? for a jock no less??
As much as I love Chris Robinson it is still hard to believe he was banging Kate Hudson.Just an observation.
The Black Crowes are so good.
Me and my friend did a really cool acoustic cover of this song...check out my vid
Chris sounds phantastic but he looks seriously ill.
Luther is good, but he can't touch Marc Ford
Saw them at the Stone Balloon at the University of Delaware during my senior year (1990). THAT was a kick ass show- in front of only about 100 people!
