Hey, I recently found this compartment open itself on my long drive. I’ve had the mini two years and never seen it. It doesn’t click open like yours and I cannot figure how to open it again. Have you heard or any other opening methods? Thanks!
Nicely done - such a shame Mini dropped the feature. I guess this would be a much harder project on the LCI / LCI2 facelifted variants as the AC vents changed and became integrated with that full panel... not sure how far you'd have to go back-dating the dash to find a common join-line where you could stop... especially if you want the driver's side to match and the gauge pod changed.... if anyone successfully makes this work on the newer models I'd love to see it.
@@lookship Yeah I know. I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to American viewers who wanted to add a mod like this. (varies from state to state) In my state, is a class A misdemeanor. Not trying to criticize. Just adding information
Not sure I want to pull my new Mini apart... Did have a 2013 with the compartment. Was nice to have.

Nice fit and good mod 👍
Hi, are you sure the R series will fit as the trim on the front looks different?
Can't be done in my 2017 clubman unfortunately as this is the passenger airbag 😢 looks cool though
Doesn't he have an airbag on the passenger side too?
Do you guys think it's worth it? 🤔
I do for £48. Maybe not for £170 from Mini...
What if I have the excitement package with color changing lights? Do they have that one?

I'll see if I can find an LCI to have a look in and make a short showing you what to do in there 👍
Likewise. I have a 2023 2dr Cooper S, and would love to have this compartment somehow.
@@lookship I have a 2023, I'm also interested in if there's a way to do it there.
Good video
Glad you enjoyed it 🤘
How many nuggets can you fit in it
11
I'll check how many fish fingers fit tomorrow 👌
Sweeps I’m going with 34 due to the uniform shape
What about Lookship cocktail sausages 👀
@@onedetailing2159 hundreds 🤣
Could you share a part number or it's too late now?)
They're in the video buddy 🙂
F54 is not working. In the Clubman is no part there. Its part of the whole dashboard
Oh that sucks. I was hoping I could add this to my F54.
Make sure you look up if hidden compartments are legal in your country before installing. (Illegal in the US)
Dude it's OEM 🤣
It’s no different to a glove box 😅
