Throughout generations, the beyblades were created from star fragments (meteorites) that fell to Earth. Some were created based on planets, two were based on suns, and thanks to Zeus himself, most of them are based on the Earth's constellations. Regarding L-Drago in particular, his star fragment possesses an evil power that absorbs the negative emotions of humans and grows stronger. As it had been around far longer than the main characters of the show, used in wars and to rule over civilizations, it has a lot of energy stored up, allowing Ryuga to do many things that even high-level bladers can't. Also, those "Gallic Guns" that Ryuga was charging up were just the energy that L-Drago possessed and gave to Ryuga. CJ doesn't show it here, but every time he launched those projectiles they were aimed at L-Drago first before unleashing the attack.
I never watched metal fight and all those that came after the og beyblade series so I gotta ask. Are the later shows just set in an alternate universe or something? It doesn't seem like it was just a future timeline like some of the Yu-Gi-Oh seasons.
@@XS-NRGthey beyblade series are connected for the most part. I think the newer ones are not. But the older ones where connected to the metal.
@@XS-NRGThe continuity stopped after Shogun Steel (Which I think is trash but them trying to revitalize the beyblade franchise since the Metal saga ,imo, was one the best series they ever made but were trying to experiment away from metal because of numerous complaints of children cutting their fingers cuz the beys were too sharp/made of metal plus would be used as weapons to chuck at other kids etc.)
Burst, which comes after the metal series, is not connected at all. The metal series is magic in nature, while burst and its conected series are all about actual strategy for the most part.@@XS-NRG
Ryuga was made so that Goji and Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen can run. Ryuga had that aura and every time he shows up shit is about go down. He was a menace.

there is a thing called " the blader's spirit", and that directly influences how strong you and your bey can be. so its not " the power of friendship" its more like a DBZ spirit bomb . they are literally sending their spirit to ginjka to make him stronger.

To explain the powers it's kinda like Stands from Jojo's or Ash-Greninja from Pokemon; your Bladers Spirit manifests through your Bey and the stronger your connection to your Bey and the trials you go through the stronger your abilities become. This connection is very important because some people in the Lore don't even have Special Moves like Ryuga's "Dragon Emperor Soaring Bite Strike" (The Galac Gun move).
The reason Ryuga's L-Drago is even more cracked than most Beyblades in the series is because it's made from a Star Fragment aka a Literal Meteor. As one of the OG Beyblades it still holds power from the Star Fragment and that Star Power it has lets it absorb Spin Strength and Strength from your Bladers Spirit. He can literally snatch your soul. Pegasus is the opposite and through it's bonds with others Bladers Spirit it grows stronger like Mega Man or a passive Spirit Bomb.

Also, all the other Beyblades besides L-Drago are direct descendants from Pegasus himself. Stated by Gingka's dad (Ryo) in Metal Fusion.
So basically, all the Beyblades were born from the Star Fragment. Which also explains why we got Legendary Bladers where their Beys become stronger and evolve after awakening the inner Star Fragment inside of their Beys
@@StarForce99 the Legendary bladers were chosen by a second Star Fragment that was split apart by Dynamis. So Pegasus and L-Drago got even more cracked when they were already top 3 Bey's in verse.

In the best way i can explain it you are really just seeing the actual bey cause the damage. All the special attacks is really just extremely exaggerated bey attacks thats causeing the actual damage
to simplify the power system, if you understand Jojo bizare adventure , it pretty similar. you can think of the bey spirit the same of stand power.

There is never any explanation for the power system except magic beats in the Beyblades , no explanation of how and why
They do explain it, but in a weird way. It's via the Bladers Spirit. Yeha, it was no Yugioh "Heart of The cards" stuff this was a legitimate force in the beyblade Metal series. It basically turned Beyblades into Stands from Jojo's. Then the Bey's made from star fragments like Pegasus and L-Drago were next level in terms of power.
Well they do explain near the ending of the metal series (Beyblade Metal Fury) where beys were born and essentially given life via a meteor/star fragment splitting into tiny peices via earths atmosphere and supposedly the meteor was "Alive". The bladers spirit is what connects the user to the beyblade which is how they're able to control it which is shown in Metal Masters where Ginka gets a new pegasus and has a hard time controlling it until he manages to master and tame it with his willpower and it responding to his wishes in return, sort of like a pact. Gingas and Ryugas beys I think were born from the same star fragment but it was a major starfragment with more power than usual compared to the other ones. So essentially the user is the fuel tank and the beyblade runs off of them as fuel.

Beyblades have spirits that manifest. El Drago being one of them. These spirits connect to the player. The damage the beyblade takes they feel as well several times throughout the series. Also beyblades have powers in which are based on the spirits/Beyblades that is used. They beyblade you have is connected to you! Also the attacks are real. The show has established this a few times along with the lore.
Two words:
*Bey Spirits*
The color coded animals, warriors, and mystical beings that come out of the Beyblades are connected to the User like Ki AND a Jojo’s Stand! Giving power to both of them.

For people sort of confused about the power scaling, the "bladers spirit" (which is basically their determination and conviction) is what connects the user to the beyblade which is how they're able to control it which is shown in Metal Fusion which CJ is covering where you see Ginka get mad and have angry energy so it responds by going on a rampage as well. Another is Metal Masters where Ginka gets a new Pegasus and has a hard time controlling it until he manages to master and tame it with his willpower and it responding to his wishes in return, sort of like a pact. Ginkas and Ryugas beys I think were born from the same star fragment but it was a major star fragment with abnormal energy and with more power than usual compared to the other ones (In metal Masters his 2nd Pegasus is born from the same star as Ryugas but his first one was just created to put L-Drago in check so it was a miracle it won but ended up dying as the cost). So in short essentially the user is the fuel tank and the beyblade runs off of them as fuel. So an example is how Hikaru how she was scared and wasn't really convicted and was scared led to her being wiped off the map easily but she sort of has credit since she survived one attack after Ryuga drained other bladers for like the past 3 months of energy before the tournament arc and absorbed the other semi-major threats. But of course plot armor takes place too in determining some battles lol. Sorry if this sounded nerdy and if there's any corrections feel free to correct. 😅

Just saying, there IS scaling for the beyblades. Yes. THE BEYBLADES! And they can get to Universal levels of bullshit power. So yeah, Beyblade IS that serious.

Yup! A lot of the monsters, magic and trap cards are on some bullshit! If we were to take say Blue Eyes's flavor text literally, it is borderline unkillable.
I would explain the power scaling of this but to be honest I'm not a power scaling expert. Matter of fact some people find power scaling really cringe. It's like some of your think Goku can beat everyone in the universe. The authors and writers do not care about power scaling. Power scaling in anime in general is complicated and confusing matter fact the Earth is complicated and confusing. Believe me my brain cannot process their power levels.
