That's like saying "Yeah, I walked around your basement for 5 min and think I can do a complete remodel in exactly 45 days on the day of your open house." No, you inspect things, look for hidden damage, or go over everything carefully and THEN give an estimated deadline that could likely change. It's infuriating at this point because it's such an easily solvable problem.

Just about every vehicle they do they ruin. I bet there are gallons of bondo used on his cars. Also the structure integrity comes from the rocker panels you. You couldn't pay me to take my car to these guys.
When someone is dumb enough to buy a vehicle from this place, they are paying more for the car because of the gallons of bondo that's applied to the metal. The owner should take the title of this car, then drive the vehicle to a Cat Brand professional calibrated weight scale, and see the weight difference between the factory weight on the title, and the weight of the car after it leaves Gas Monkey Garage. Doesn’t Dynacorn offer an f body in convertible ?
yes they do and it would have been cheaper then the red one
Rawlings getting screwed never gets old.
People watching, thinking he’s getting screwed is even funnier, that rotten car is making him rich.
@@oxyfee6486 psssst hate to break it to ya. Sanra Claus, the easter bunny and the tooth fairy are the same as Rawlings making money. NOT REAL.

The guy in the red car needs to wipe the brown stuff off his nose!
Why would somebody buy a car for $25,000 and tear it apart. Hell just put a sub frame and panels in the old body.
I LIKE BLUE!
It's basically a camero with a different nose.
What a waste.
I'll pay you 1500 for the white roller and fix it
Order a custom frame
All he had to do was bring it back to original and it would have made him profit
That f n guy is going rip some one off with that rotted junk heap also
Should of left those cars alone,,,,they were fine the way they were.
WOW, he really knows his cars and how to buy them !!!!!!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA , guy should stay on his boat and drink beer !
Rhicard is king of the bullshiters!
Why put a crate motor in a car that's original motor just drove 1500 miles 🤔
?good question! This show is more like a day soap drama
My mom has one
crusher, as if lol
Just re-chassis the car.
Someone will buy the car and rebuild it but it’ll take time and a lot of money
400 Convertable June palmer Miller Fayetteville ga
Don’t these guy look underneath before they buy ???
DEHUMIDIFIER
It's a TV Show . . . . Wake up people !!! 😤
Should of took it to Dennis it's obvious this was way over Richards head !
Yeah Dennis is the man!!! Plus Dennis actually appreciates these old firebirds!!
Richard needs to go back to his roots. Greed changed him. Used to love the show before he changed
Sayonara sucker he says , funny
These people are pathetic to basically scrap a car like this for bad floor plans buy some more floor pans it take the front rear axle out of it replace it it's not a big deal just because they live in Texas and they have clean pretty cars doesn't mean it's got to be that way all the time
Haha. Texans and west coast car guys. You haven't seen rust! That white firebird is average rust in midwest and definitely east coast
Just about every vehicle they do they ruin. I bet there are gallons of bondo used on his cars. Also the structure integrity comes from the rocker panels you. You couldn't pay me to take my car to these guys.
Joe
Keep doing what you doing
When someone is dumb enough to buy a vehicle from this place, they are paying more for the car because of the gallons of bondo that's applied to the metal. The owner should take the title of this car, then drive the vehicle to a Cat Brand professional calibrated weight scale, and see the weight difference between the factory weight on the title, and the weight of the car after it leaves Gas Monkey Garage. No doubt there will be a significant weight difference between the weight numbers. The actual workers in the shop really know their trade, but the owner Richard Rawlings, is a real con man. A snake oil salesman. I would rather buy something from Mr. Haney of the Green Acres TV show, than a dog house from Richard Rawlings. He gives true vehicle restoration shop owners a real bad reputation. As the saying goes:
BUYER BEWARE. Especially when you buy ANYTHING from Richard Rawlings. Even a pencil.
The floor of the uni-body was gone and I`m not sure if it`s the same as a Camaro, but anybody else would have looked under the car before handing over the money.
It’s a tv show sir, it’s crazy how in 2022 you people think its real 🤦🏻♂️
@@joesant1943 My comment expresses exactly what you said about my comment. It's fake. All fake just like Richard Rawlings. What's not fake is the extremely talented body and paint men that knows how to make great restorations. But with a sleezy boss man like greasy Richard Rawlings, he's more than a fly in the ointment. Richard is a armpit flea. Welp, the former head of Countin Cars can resort to walking the Vegas strip picking pockets, and stealing purses to put food in the table at the Rawlings single wide trailer.
Not a fan of RR.
RR is nothing without Aaron Kaufmann, the Bearded restorer. He some money for RR for a while and then gave RR his notice to quit and go his own way. Bub-eye Aaron.
danocorp get brand new bodie
I BOUGHT A CAR ONCE FROM THESE GUYS ,, IT WAS 90 % BONDO
I doubt it
Floorpans are not structural on any car.
@@erincummings745 Floorpans are thin steel you can bend with your hands. That's why they beadroll them.. the floorpans weld to the structure.
@@erincummings745 unibody cars use layered steel bent in complex bends for strength. Floorpans arent that
@@getchasome6230 ... on a unibody car the floor pan is probably 50% of the strength. If you are at the point where the pans are gone you probably don't have a straight car because everything sags. Replacing the pans on this while the structure is weak will hold that "sag" situation where it is. Basically someone needed to do a little tweaking / bending BEFORE those new pans went in.
FLOOR PANS HOOK TO OTHER PARTS AND PROVIDE LATERAL SUPPORT LINKING SUBFRAME AND UNIBODY PARTS
@@rupe53 Nope. You're incorrect
Never trust a man that looks at a 67 convertible firebird and says lets get the ugly off of it. Lol fat L

Who the fuck doesn't look under the car???
These video titles from DMAX are the worst. Why would someone want to look at the video after getting to know exactly everything happening in it?
Boo hoo.
Losing 35 grand is chump change to Richard, but losing his show was the worst thing that could happen. Now you have a regular dude with a huge ego stuck on RUclips. Lol
What about the multi million dollar business he has flipping cars with Dennis?
