    Thanks for beautiful video.
In my peugeot 407 caliper come with two cylinder, can I replace it with one cylinder caliper like you have in this video?

      I there
A two calliper setup, was that for the coupe or one of the V6 models?
Perhaps you can change it to a single piston calliper but i am not 100% sure if you need to change the disks, pads and carrier, also make sure if the calliper on one side is done that you change the other to keep the brakes balanced.
Only thing i can say is that for the higher performance versions, either with more power or a heavier engine up front there is probably a very good reason why it had dual piston callipers to give the car sufficient braking force. It may not be the safest thing to put on weaker brakes, although the cost may be cheaper these are a safety item.

Hola, qué tipo y tamaño de llave utilizas para quitar los dos tornillos de la pinza de freno? He utilizado una tor 50 y me quedaba un poco pequeña, la otra de la que dispongo es de 55 y era grande. Gracias

Found the channel just and what a great videos. My question is not relatedbto this video, but do you known that if 206 year 2000 1.6i instrument cluster is replaced to used one where is more km/milages is it just fitted on or is it needed to teach/program to the car ? Milage/km is certainly highter with the new instrument cluster. Thanks

      Hi, thanks for the comment.
I have not changed an instrument cluster from one car to another but from reading on the forums I remember that the mileage will add the value in the bsi and new cluster together or something to that effect.
Peugeot planet is not able to alter it, you need to find someone doing “mileage correction” google or Facebook it in your area. They have the right equipment to change the displayed mileage via the obd port.

Peugeot 407 aracımın ön disk değişiminden sonra lastikleri içden aşırı şekilde aşınma oldu.Nedenini biliyor musunuz?

      Hi there
The 407 front suspension is a fairly sophisticated double wishbone arrangement, so you need to check the joints for play, also it is possible that a wheel has hit a kerb or pothole and it might have put the alignment out. I would not say anything related to the new disks/pads would affect the tyre wear. However it would be best to bring it to a tyre shop with an alignment machine to have the car checked.

Hi there, thanks for the comment
The turbo is a job i have not yet done but judging by the sound of mine it will be required in the future. I also have the spares 407 which will be used to donate its turbo.
I will do a video on it but it wont be till later on this year.

1:32 - I've heard that it's not a good idea to use grease (at least that amount of grease) here. Someone told me that you should not use any grease here or just a little bit of silicone spray (very thin layer)

I have read it in the comments before without any substantiated reasons against it.
Having been working on my own and relatives cars for over 10 years now i much rather use it for the convenience it offers when servicing the brakes again in the future. The salty roads here cause corrosion that can make old disks a nuisance to remove.
So far i have not experienced any disadvantages with it.

      Quoting you from google translate:
"Take it easy, do you know the reason why those cables on the brake pads on my side were cut?"
The pad wear cables? The wiring in the loom leading up to the plug had corroded, a feature i do not need as i check the brakes with sufficient frequency anyhow and know what worn pads look like. I did not feel it was worth splicing in a new section of loom to fix the issue.
