I love watching the old TPIR episodes -- much more interesting than the new version of the show! I think the 70-cent spread is butter. Although, running the 70-cent price through an inflation calculator, it comes out to about 7 dollars in today's prices -- more than any butter costs today (at least in my supermarket), with the possible exception of some of those fancy European brands.
I love these old Bill Cullen episodes....only wish they had more episodes sponsored by Newport.....I think there are only 2 Newport episodes here on RUclips
Alice Horst was my grandma!
I remember this commercial and I must’ve been only three or four wow!
My mom used Wisk. It came in that little can. Their were seven kids at my house so that went fast😊
28:05 - How did you get a Game Show Network print?
Every Saturday morning at 10:30 AM eastern/7:30 am Pacific
@@williamdunphy352 That's Buzzr, who airs it with the commercials. The GSN airings in the 1990's didn't have those.
Great to see these old shows with Bill Cullen as host
With original commercials.
William Dunphy indeed. I’d like to see some that were sponsored by Lark cigarettes or Newport cigarettes 😎
@@ChadQuick270W I believe there a couple of episodes which are sponsored by Newport Filtered Cigarettes, Lark Cigarettes (9/6/1964), on RUclips.
What is the $0.70 spread? I think these old episodes with these old cars and all that really cool furniture are really awesome to watch

Yes. It was first called oleomargarine then just shortened to either oleo or margarine. Margarine won.
You didn't factor in the LEAP YEARS. PUBLIC SCHOOL ARITHMETIC. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I guessed $4700 on the T-bird when the bidding started. 👍
25:45....you gotta feel sorry for Mr.Fuller....even though he won the game.....to have over bid on that Ford Thunderbird by only 90 cents.....grrrr

The clothes in the first bonus were amazing and was what most all women wore at the time, when women were ladies.
Alice Horst looks like Faye Dunaway
Wow that car was very nice looking one too bad they all over bid
