Audiosurf 2 is a music game. The goal of the game is to get as many points as possible. You have a three by seven grid that you try to fill up with as many colored blocks as possible. Colored blocks add one to the grid on their respective lane and grey blocks delete one block on their lane. You get points when either you fill one lane (collect more than seven blocks) or if you don't collect a block for a certain amount of time. Because the function that calculates the points is actually a square function it is better to fill the grid as much as possible instead of just collecting all the blocks ( 2*3 blocks is less than 1*6 blocks). So you sometimes need to collect a grey block. Especially if you get near a so called 'power block' that gives you instantly a percentage of the points in your grid at the time you collect it.
Important: I consider myself not the best player in the game. Not at all. But I guess im not that bad either when you look at the scoreboard. I have around 190 hours at the game at this point.
