Thank you for this! One of my favorite things about ballet is actually seeing how the different companies stage their productions, so this was really fun!
This was such a beautiful tribute to international ballet companies and I could guess everything right (: Apart from the modern pieces, I could also recognize the story ballets and I'm happy about your broad choice. The dancers mentioned was a great help to figure out, especially in case of Maria Eichwald, as I've never heard of that ballet Der Sandmann (I researched it, it's a choreography by Christian Spuck Fun fact: It's based on the novel, which was the inspiration for Coppelia (; , it's none of the big company classics, which are still performed by the company such like Onegin or Taming of the Shrew...), this was before I started to visit performances at Stuttgart Ballet and it's a company I really love and adore. I also love very much the Swan Lake version from La Scala with Zakharova and Bolle, it was my first Swan Lake I had on DVD, and it's such a wonderful, lovely ballet version of this classic ballet.

I was very happy about this enjoyable quiz, thank you very much for it, also for including my favorite ballet company ! (;
Ohhh, that one was fun! I had no idea who she was, but I live in Prague and our repertoire pretty much copies Stuttgart, so just at the first glanse my brain was like "Stuttgart!". Purely based on dance style and the costumes/scene. Also Spuck really makes sense to me 😃. What a great choice for Stuttgart, very representative of their style yet not that well known!

I love your quiz, they are so much fun!!! I could have sworn that the ballerina in the Swan Lake performed by the National ballet of Canada is former Bolshoi principal dancer Svetlana Lunkina,,,
Thank you so much for your comment ! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! You're actually right, because it was a trailer and during the actual performance there were 3 different Odettes. I chose to put the non Russian one to help the viewers know it was Canada
Particularly enjoyed this one, maybe because I actually did okay in it! Partly thanks to artists' names :-) Didn't spot a name for the Joburg principal dancer, would have liked that. But of course I do understand not having names where the clips were more ensemble pieces and there are too many people to name. Great to see the same piece from different companies but just as good seeing less-known pieces from less-known companies! Some companies listed in the answers that I've never seen but now want to - e.g. I didn't know Cairo had a company! Thanks!

Thanks so much, I really enjoyed all the footage, and that you also included smaller,lesser known companies rather than just the big internationally famous ones. It was also made a lot eadier to guess by including the namesof the artists.
