Read where the seafood is caught, do not buy farm raised. There are no import laws that require testing of seafood for dangerous heavy metals, the only thing everyone hears about is mercury. I was diagnosed with an extremely high level of inorganic arsenic from farm raised imported seafood. The retailer absolved themselves of all responsibility and stated it was up to the importer / manufacturer to provide quality control, right….sure they do, absolutely not! The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not established regulatory limits for heavy metals in finished food products other than bottled water. Buyer beware indeed!

I bought a box of the panko-breaded shrimp advertised in the current Costco print ad last Friday, and prepped half the box as the entree for last night's supper. Followed the package instructions for conventional oven prep, and they were delicious. Nuked the last few this morning as a non-traditional breakfast dish, and they were hot, but the microwave had turned them a bit rubbery (even after just 1 minute).

I had the panko-breaded shrimp and feel it is too greasy for me. On the contrary, the coho salmon is a rare one that I like. Bake it as a dish (with seasoning that I like), and chop the leftover into small pieces to pan fry with soy sauce and seasoning until brown, then put them into fry rices with additional egg and vegetables, a wild salmon fry rice dish is pretty good.

I like Costco's cold water lobster steamed with butter. The sea scallops, near the lobster were not good. They were fishy tasting & I cooked them as soon as I got home from Costco, the weather was cold. I was concerned that I might get sick but I didn't. I only ate a couple of them, disappointing. The frozen bagged scallops from Stater Bros. were way better though fresh is best.

If you think their scallops are "rubbery" you either a) don't know how to cook scallops or b) left the abductor muscle on or c) thawed them improperly.
They are, in fact, very tender, open to any flavor you want to give them whether herbs or orange or plain butter and oil. They produce a wonderful sear while not overcooking (if done properly).
Also, they are not processed, they are dry scallops not brined "wet" scallops which you may be used to.
Really not sure you know what a dry scallop is or how to cook them or what an abductor muscle is (which indeed IS rubbery duh).

Whomever reviewed the Trident Salmon Burgers either did not prepare them properly or have no taste buds.
Use a proper food thermometer & do not cook at too high of a temperature & you can enjoy a Tasty, economical, nutritious Salmon patty.
Cook it at too high of a temperature, you will end up with a tasteless, dry hockey puck.
If you compared a properly cooked Beef steak, with an improperly cooked Ground Beef burger, you will not be doing either product a favour.
Prepare it properly or do not make a review.
