Tom Steele God save all of us who cannot live in peace with each other.
We say we love God but hate each other.
We think it pleases Him when we destroy those who do not look like us.
Or worship Him as we do.
Surely,He loves all of us as a Father when we call out to Him in our distress.

The hymn is called Ftah Li mor (Open for me, Lord). It says:
Open for me, Lord, your door, full of mercies, just as you opened it for the sinful woman.
Accept my tears which I present for you, and grant me forgiveness of sins.
You are the water of life which I took as my companion that I may not have to ask water from Abraham (Lazarus and The Rich man) for I heard the story of the rich man asking for water from his fingertip.

yes there is an album. I bought it in 1995. I believe if I remember correctly "Liturgie de l'Eglise Syrique Jacobite" but im not sure of the spelling. Its somewhere in my collection in Beirut. I will dig it up and write the correct name.
This is incredible, so beautiful and having the cd itself is a treasure in that it explains about the various styles of liturgical chants and gives a description and translation of each hymn.

"Will You Board the Divine Vessel, About to Set Sail?
We came here to await the Way that will save all beings
Yet blinded have we become, over all these lifetimes
The Way, however sought, could little be found
Lengthy chatter over scriptures proved empty
At Day’s End the Creator props up the falling sky
But a Red Scourge attacks as He offers the Way
The test falls to each of us to discern true from false
Will you board the divine vessel, about to set sail?
    February 6, 2013"
Master Li Hongzhi (from Falun Dafa teachings)

syriac influenced arabic dialect of syria. like amazigh influenced arabic in morocco and coptic influenced arabic spoken in egypt. thats why the arabic from morocco and egypt and syria is so different. ;) we think coptic and amazigh and syriac is dead but a little bit lives on in the spoken arabic dialect and the dna of the people is same

At 1:21 they are chanting Luke 2, 14 "Theshbuhtho L-Aloho bamrawme" which is the praise chanted by the angels at the birth of Christ. They repeat that 3 times. At 2:20 they are chanting Psalm 4 in Syriac. You can listen to that with lyrics at ruclips.net/video/tUKB3IKPAAM/видео.html . At 3:42 they are chanting "Fthah Lee Mor" an eqbo of repentance in the tune Qum Fawlos. You can listen to that with lyrics and English translation at ruclips.net/video/G63qmSI5Ik8/видео.html
