    I like your honesty and realistic side of detailing. I deal with alot of clients wanting shine on their cars but not willing to pay thousands of dollars on it which i totally understand. Just watching your videos has helped me alot with my business attacking more paint enhancements than full paint corrections

    You can see that 550 has never been polished except one time with a rotary turned up to high. The Sun damage on the top panel shows the damage from no protection at all. Great turn around Phil @ jess!! 👍🏼🇨🇦

    I recently detailed a similar vintage black E300. Gotta say, the paint wasn't bad - not nearly as hurled as this S-Class, ooooof...
    I used TW One&Done Compound with Urofiber 50/50 pads on both 3 and 5 inch DA's.
    Because of weather and time constraints [the owner was road tripping the next day with rain in the forcast] i coated it with Seal&Shine. Damn...results were stellar.
    Good work on your Benz!

    Looks great in the shop, and even better outside! You showed 4 polishing products - did you use them all, or did you stick with one? Presume they had different cutting ability?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  Год назад +1

      Hi. Thanks. I just used one of them for the majority. Sometimes you may come across a panel that needs a little more cut so I find myself trying a different combo at that point.

    Good realistic transformation. I have 6 of these to do for a local chauffeur company. They have been washed with brushes since new by the drivers so are in a sorry state. Im thinking 3D ONE with a medium/light cutting pad should give a good amount of improvement and then a coat of 3D POXY. No point going crazy trying to get every defect out because the drivers will only use the brushes on them again. I like your channel because you show realistic everyday detailing where customers just want something that doesnt cost the Earth but leaves them with a decent amount of shine. The huge money paint corrections with 2/3 steps of machine polishing are few and far between in the real world.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  Год назад +2

      Thanks so much! Exactly! RUclips is flooded with detailers who always go way overboard, then detailers think they have to be like them or they are hacks. Very discouraging and unrealistic. We need more detailing Channels who show the real side of detailing businesses.

    • @MirandaDetailing

All our hard work over the hard is now useless. I’ll put out. Ore videos soon. Just stepping back a little because I’m burnt out. RUclips sucks these days. They have made some really bad decisions. Sorry 😞

    Good Morning Phil. I know that it’s been a good little while since I last reached out or asked you a question. Just wanted to get your expert opinion to a quick question. What advice would you give me for cleaning,waxing or polishing the trunk make/model emblem? Without causing damage to the emblem? Or without leaving a residue film behind?
    @keepingupmydetailgame

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  Год назад +2

      Hi. I usually just use either and apc, iron remover or water spot remover on emblems depending on what they need. I use a Workstuff white or orange brush to brush the emblems. When polishing I just gently work around the emblems.

    • @MirandaDetailing

      Hi. I’m not really sure about the best, but these hoses are pretty awesome. I have been use the same one for over 5 years.
      www.carsupplieswarehouse.com/products/mtm-hydro-kobrajet-4-000psi-non-marking-grey-hose-w-qds-installed?variant=37562632503476
      Use code MIRANDA10 and see if you get 10% off those items.
      But also to make sure they don’t kink or bind you need a swivel pressure washer gun like this
