Makeup is intimidating. I appreciate the way you explain things, it's very logical. I never thought about the difference between bronze and contour, for example, or understood why lipstick always looks bad on me. I think a lot of people know how to do but not how to teach - like they know what looks good on them but I can't re-create that for myself using their explanation. You teach the fundamentals in a way that makes them adaptable to different features. There's a lot of theory there that might come naturally to some, but really needs to be explained to others, and you're good at explaining. So anyway, thanks!

I just wanna say thank you for teaching me so many things and I love the genuine and unique way you talk about beauty. My view of makeup is creativity, self expression and also self care. Personally I find confort in it and view it as a safe space.
There is so much artistry in makeup whether you make it a career endeavor or not. My relationship with makeup has changed several times from the time I was a little girl into being a grown woman. Now, it’s something I am grateful I can do, and it’s therapeutic. My routine is light, but it’s grounding and reduces my anxiety. So does skincare. Thank you for sharing your other interests outside of RUclips. It’s refreshing to know the other aspects of your life✨

I totally agree with you that it’s like sketching, but I would go further and say that makeup is tool that allows me to artistically express myself and how I feel in the moment, with my skin is the canvas. I find using and experimenting with makeup both mentally satisfying and emotionally fulfilling 🙂
