This is definitely the best one out of the three contestants. He has a better understanding of the game as well as a good voice. These are not the lame comentaries we are used to. I will definitely enjoy the games more with his commentaries.
Adam is by far the best commentator on ITTF. He has a good voice and speaks in clear diction. He seems knowledgeable about each player's style and skills. His commentaries are always very lively and exciting to listen to. It is greatly enhanced by his superb understanding of the sport in ordet to provide the audience with an insightful and informative game analytics. Adam is definitely the BEST voice on ITTF.... he will go very far!!!
Bro I am a casual TT fan. I love to play and always watch Semis and finals of big events. This commentator making me watch a lot of TT at Toky Olympics. Lmao. He's hilarious! Sweat Sqaud!! hahaha
I've listened to the other two and this commentary is the best. Contestant 3 has a better voice but says many silly things like 'he hit that with the force and power of a Jedi Knight' so wrong. I know about Adam's passion and knowledge of table tennis as I've seen many of his videos over the years. He is the man for this job.
You can call it a ritual. But more of getting the feel to start a serve...sort of like spatting the back. Hmm... I think tennis does the same, they bounce the ball on floor before a serve. It the rymthmatical like boxing. Put you in better state before a serve. I might sound exaggerated but it is true.
I thought Adam was trying to be too professional. Sounded a tighter than usual. Not as free flowing as he was in the college championships. Nonetheless, the best one, BY FAR! I'm disappointed that no one even tried.
My comment is probably not going to go down too well with some, but anyway, here goes. Table Tennis is a Asian/European sport, and to me the American accent sounds bloody awful. Look at golf, even the American fans love the British accent, they chose Nick Faldo over all the ex American players. TT is not the easiest sport to commentate on, but I thought that lady [Gillian?] did OK. She was given a lot of criticism, but that was because viewers only heard the edited high-lights, whereas the full commentary was pretty good. Ian Marshall was bad at it, and his journalism is not so great either. By his writing, I don't think he got his English O'level. [so much repetition in his reports]. The Irish guy at the moment is good, I don't know what is wrong with having him. I have a feeling that Michael Maze would be a good voice of table tennis.
I agree that the David Wetherill's accent was a plus, as was his use of colorful language. But it was trumped IMO by Adam actually demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the game. I'll take substance over form when listening to sports. And I'll even tolerate a disagreeable voice if what the commentator has to say is meaningful, insightful, and more than a mere verbalization of the obvious.

Bobrow is definetely our man! Very comfertable to listen too, while explaining and understanding the game. By far the best!
He got my vote as well. Knowledge, smooth and professional.
Clearly the best. He was the only one that seemed to offer good insight into what was happening at the table.
This commentator definitely wins my vote.

very enjoyable voice and he knows over what is talking. sometimes over excited but thats not that big issue
The best one.
I like him the best. he makes it less boring to watch.
The match he was commentating on was not boring to watch.
Is bouncing the ball before serving just a ritual to help focus, or are there more tangible/practical reasons as well?

Why do they touch that corner of the table before serves?
just realized

You got be kidding. How can Gillian be compared with Adam?
BTW, why is accent more important than content?
