I love this song as an acoustic number. I never knew I wanted to hear Airbag played this way until earlier today after listening to the cassette from the OKNOTOK boxset.
This song is the most beautiful I think Radiohead have written. And they have written some really beautiful songs. I love how this version brings something unique and touching to an already tremendous studio album version.
There are many people who are in love with this band and think they can do no wrong, and sometimes I'm like that. But they're just people who make good music. It's great in it's own right - definitely not better though. Colin's funky bass lines, that groovy drum beat, and Ed guitar hooks elevate the song beyond what Thom and Jonny are doing here, as good as it is.

It's too bad there's not a better acoustic recording of this song available (at least to my knowledge. They should re-record it sometime. It would be a dream come true if it were a B-side on their upcoming album.
