There is very little water in this area and it's amazing when it's green but turns brown fast with rattlesnakes.

Beautifully said, I tell my folks these words everyday. It's good to save money but most people don't understand the market moves and tend to be misled in facts like this and always depend on money in the bank.

What are you talking about? The land is in its natural state. This is what vegans need to understand. Cattle can be grazed on land like this, leaving the native flora and fauna to thrive. Standard vegetable farming here would destroy the habitat for native plants and animals alike. The biggest threat to species is loss of habitat. A well run cattle ranch can preserve species' habitat. Thats why you see that most of these large, pristine land holdings are cattle ranches. BTW I am an environmentalist. Preserve and repair land for the benefit of all species, including humans! Support family farms and ranches, and permaculture practices, over corporate farms and ranches! Live well.
