    Shrink those chest pockets a bit and move them up an inch or so. Make the lower pockets hand warmer type.

    The stitching on this is something you don’t see even on a $2000 jacket. It’s so heavy duty and really high quality looking, just beautiful. I love that the lining is 100% wool. The leather is really high-quality and really thick and every detail on this jacket is beautiful and well made. I hope you make a shorter jacket either with a collar or a café racer. I would totally buy it for this price.

      The only way to find their Lead Times pages is by googling. Even their own search feature won’t find it.

    A good leather can be handed down to the next generation, maybe two. My father-in-law gave me his horsehide when I was in my early 20s (before I even married his daughter). I was riding motorcycles at the time and I wore it until I got too big for it. Sold it maybe 10 years ago (in my 60s now) to the next owner and it's probably still in use.

    Why is it so hard to find a dressy combat boot like that. Just a basic, classic combat boot but with an elegant toe box, quality built from premium full grain leather, all black and shiny (not patented).

But I would take the measurements of a jacket that fits you to be sure. They have a sizing chart on their website. Baring in mind this jacket is made to longer both in the sleeves and overall length. It wears more like a pea coat over a standard jacket.

    I'd really like to wear this coat at rainy weather, but with chrome tanned leather it seems like bad idea (with my personal experience) and 45 degree angle cut lower pockets make rainy day even worse, like its made for collecting rain drops...
    And don't tell me the leather is "oil tanned", there is no such a thing as oil tanning, leather can be fused with oils, sure, but again my money on veg-tan with oils rather than chrome.

    • @aaronminkenberg8386

      Chrome Tanning is actually on the average the better choice than veg tanning for items that are used in wet conditions

    • @ohmother5050
      @ohmother5050 10 месяцев назад +1

      in all honesty, waxed canvas would probably do better in the rain than leather. however, chrome tanning and oils really do help with the water repellency of the coat a lot, and what you lose in water repellency, you gain in a significant increase in durability. this coat would be the best in dry snowy weather conditions instead of wet rainy environments

    • @sservak276
      @sservak276 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@aaronminkenberg8386 in the days of past chrome tanned leather used only for dress or summer, workwear, any sorts of coats and boots, were made from veg tan. If you try to use crhome tan at rainy/snowy and hard working daily conditions you will see how leather would stretch out, discolor, loose form and start to soaking wet through.
      Nowadays, unfortunately, everything are messed up, like for example many leather "aficionados" stating that one of the best leather choice is cordovan shell wich is basically horse hide.
