Even when they where both ethno-nationalists they had aligned interests at best. Malcom X was primarily interested in the protection of African Americans and believed the best path to accomplish that was to form a black ethno-state.
GLR wanted a white ethno-state to seperate the "sub-humans" from the whites.
One is based on some what misguided self protection the other is based on supremacy and hatred.
