  • This is a real world example of the color blend/gradient "hidden" feature of inkstitch.

This works brilliantly! I wonder if there is any way to apply a gradient across several fill sections, like text running from left to right, when you want the gradient to cover several letters. ie. in your example -> L T L -> with the colour change starting in the L and continuing through the T.

There's an easier way now with inkstitch v3.

Thank you for your tutorial this is very good as I was trying to figure out how to color transition on the breast of a chickadee that goes from white to light brown. I am currently using guide lines for threads to follow the implied shape of the bird. So with a little trial work on my project I think I can make both these commands work together. At least I will give it a try. Thanks again. Update: I tried to use guide line fill and contour fill but it will not apply the gradient fill on the thread contour using these commands. Seems to only work with Auto fill which is straight lines at the moment.

at 8:45 you say I need these to gradiant, then you cut the video forward. Did you do something there? Mine lines dont have the gradiant, they are evenly spaced.
