A quick overview of the Tone Equalizer module as it stands in Darktable 4.6, this is probably one of the most important modules in Darktable!
What's the horrible background noise for?. It's not nice to listen to and drowns out your vocals. Lose it for god's sake!
Nah, it actually improves the video. Otherwise you'd hear his awful nasal voice better and the fact that he doesn't know what he's doing. I've heard of a face made for video but good god this guy should not do voice overs. It's so bad I reported the video for "promoting terrorism." I say the music "improves" but that's a low bar here.
Go check out Bruce Williams or Boris for DT content from someone who's not god awful to listen too.
Just wanted to say I appreciate your videos. A good help for me as a new user to figure out how the diff. modules work.

Background music is very annoying
Yes, but less annoying than breathing an mouth noises that it covers up. Even with a noise gate some still comes through. Pick your poison kind of thing.
@@LeanderHuttonPhoto No you're wrong, it's much more annoying. Lose it. I've made YT videos without any 'music?' without any problems. It's just a fashion thing. Horrible.
@@bernym4047 there are people who just hate background music of any kind. Maybe you are one of those? I have made videos w/o it in the past and people bitched at the breathing noise. It's bad, trust me. Can't win. I will admit it's maybe a bit loud in this as I'm still learning balancing audio as I go.
You're in no position to make demands here. There a others who make DT videos w/o music: go and watch them and tell your friends I suck or whatever. I'm going to keep doing my thing.
I am old school and not against an old fashioned flame war in comments though. As far as I can tell RUclips just counts engagement as positive whether you're saying "good job" or "fuck off and die in a fire your worthless shit, you're videos suck and you should quit breathing."
If we get bad enough you might get my channel banned and never have to hear background music again! :)
