QNH BSM/Qaneh Bosem/Kaneh Bosm/Kannabis/Cannabis is in the Holy Anointing Oil, this is a sacred medicine from God so we don't have to use man-made synthetic junk (pharmakeia). Genesis 1:29 gives us permission to consume all plants. God spoke to Moses from the midst of a burning bush.. God appears as a pillar of smoke and as a pillar of fire.. There's an underlying theme here for those with discernment.

This. This is it for me right here. It’s hard to put something down when it majorly coincides with your general enjoyment of life. But remember feeling ashamed can also be a way of recognizing where you are, and where you want to be. Which, to me at least, is a very important start. I’m just starting now and on Day 2. Take care of yourself, you got this.

Think of thc as a correction officer in prison. It is his/her job to take that time away from you as you age and the world in front of you slips by. Missing out on all the great things you've missed cause you wanted to sit, be bored and smoke. Work isn't easy. It never was, but when you work you are rewarded with compassion, money, and great things to spend it on. Now you have that time out of prison of addiction you see how great and fun gardening is to you. You get delicious veggies and herbs from it. Not a bunch of burnt ashes. Enjoying life is what you make out of it and what you work towards. Your doing amazing my friend, keep it up!

55 days off THC for 30 years. I watched this post before falling asleep last night. I had a dream that reminded me of something weed stole from me. That's time. The times I was bored I'd smoke, then smoke more, for hours. After years things dissappear in life. Think of the people in prison. I could have spent time with my dog who got cancer and died. I could have spent time giving my grandmother a call to just talk and say hello, she is now dead. I could have taken time to take enjoy my kids as kids, take them on vacation, but now there becoming teens and Disneyland just wouldn't be the same. I could have taken the time to go see my family in CT but I sit here in California my kids never meeting with my parents there entire lives. I hear the same from people telling the stories from prison. That time was taken from them. When prison time is over, so much time passed you can never get back. Don't let thc imprison you into thinking your bored. There is a whole world out there for you to see. Loved ones that wanna just spend time with you. Boredom is truly what you make out of life. It's easy to sit and smoke not notice until 30 years of sitting slip by. Then you see all the things you could have been doing during those boring times.

I think being bored as a result of stopping smoking weed has got more to do with how it affects dopamine in the brain, not having more time.
If you smoke consistently for a period of time then eventually your brain will become dependent on it in order to seek enjoyment from activities and its hard to derive the same pleasure from those activities without it. So usually you have to wait a few days before you start enjoying the things you used to like without it again, hence the boredom.

My biggest issue is that I crave the feeling of being high. It made everything more interesting. It made simply sitting on the couch not as boring. I can't think of anything that will give you that same high feeling. Sure there's natural highs from working out etc but it's not the same mental state and feeling. Thats my biggest struggle with quitting right now is knowing no hobby will give me that same feeling of being high.

@@timothymailloux7257 ya time is so precious. You don’t want to see yourself in 5 years from now in the same position and regretting you didn’t pursue your goals. It’s having to deny yourself and give up that high for a more fulfilling life. I’m a Christian and I quit for the reason it was poisoning my body and I kept feeling chastised inside my spirit. I had a nagging feeling. I know the struggle to give up that particular high. It’s better than being drunk, because you just observe and feel things amplified. I think I lied to myself that the high was making me more spiritual because I was starting to depend on it. It was a struggle I never experienced but I hate addiction. I really hope you get free of this. These videos really help!

I gave up THC for 3 months with your help, then I relapsed. Today I begin again. The reason I failed was because I didn't have a plan to succeed. I had allowed myself to eat whatever I want and be extremely lazy and I put on an extreme amount of weight, which led me back to THC because I love to exercise on it and it helped me control my appetite. So basically I failed at my last attempt because I just channeled one unhealthy addiction into another. I've still been listening to your videos on and off because I find you so helpful and you were able to help me quit for three whole months after like 8 years of trying. This time I know I'm going to be successful because I'm planning to start my own business and I finally found my passion which is that I want to be a personal trainer and I want to help women and the elderly become strong and powerful. That passion will be my new addiction. I love your channel keep doing what you do.

On weed, I’d often spend my evenings playing Nintendo 64 games from my youth. There was something about that combo of weed and nostalgia that felt like it was about to lead to pure joy, but it always stopped short.
Then I quit, and now those games might be fun for a laugh once in a while or with friends, but major anhedonia in trying to marathon like I would on weed.
People underestimate weed addiction. “Literally everything is a good bit less fun” is a hell of a side effect of quitting. But also, “eventually things balance out and then you don’t have to smoke weed in order to have fun” is a hell of a benefit.

I've quit for 6 months about 4 years ago and the withdrawl was insane at first. I fell into deep depression as I quit at the same time my 3 year long relationship ended. Fast forward: for the last year I have absolutely hated my addiction. I realized it no longer provided joy or release. It just brought me to a base level of being able to barely enjoy things. I finally pulled the trigger on quitting a week and a half ago after being an every day weed smoker since I was 15. The boredom is worst part but I must say my lifestyle is very different from 4 years ago. I workout 6 times a weeks and I eat clean real food. This time around I havent experienced trouble sleeping or appetite problems so far. The worst part is boredom as even when sober I dread boredom on behalf of my adhd and high functioning autism. I have a great support system in my Mother and fiance as well as her little girl who adores me and I her. I have noticed some positive changes and this time around I want to quit for good. In the past I viewd them as tolerance breaks with a full intent to smoke again eventually. This time I want to upgrade my life and it begins here ❤️

You have some good points. Personally I don't plan on stopping but I am very anti addiction. I take breaks every few months just to detox and know I'll never be in a place of addiction. I do the same with drinking as well. Personally I believe being able to control consumption without having to demonize it or be scared of it is the ultimate way. I don't have a fear of substances I have a fear of addiction. Knowing I can see when my consumption is increasing and just flat out stop cold turkey for an indefinite time is my favorite feeling. Sometimes I see how long I can go without pot might be a week, might be a month. Might hangout with friends and go wild.

It's kinda sad that jacobfingjones has more subs, watching him abuse substances, then you do getting people off. That is the reality of the world we live in these days. People rather view self destruction as apposed to self improvement. freakin nutty. My way to find relief and peace is getting back to meditation! What you have to see is, when you are high on weed once every weekend or twice a month, you take it as “funny” in a good way. So the logical thing could be “yeah, this is fun, I want every single day to be fun” so you start to do it every day; there’s a point when you’re starting to realize that “am I finding this (smoking) boring” yes, actually that’s a good reason to (not quit for ever) stop smoking too much. The mental thing is changing that thought of “when I’m high, I’m not bored and basic life is worse” to “basic life is ok and I don’t need anything to make it better or funnier”

One of the best ways I've dealt with withdrawal is to completely disrupt my daily life and environment. One time i was driving across country and quit, lasted 2 months (couldn't deal with the anxiety dreams eventually relapsed.) Another time I traveled for 5 weeks to South America but smoked as soon as I got home. But both times I had almost no issues or discomfort except a little trouble sleeping. Which can be a real problem if you have a full time job. So vacations are an excellent time to get sober and rest as needed.

You guys can do this. While I have never had a problem with weed, I was an alcoholic.
And it is the same thing in terms of the boredom that you face in early recovery. I had spent so many years thinking about getting alcohol, getting alcohol, sitting around drinking and then sleeping off the ensuing hangover that it occupied a great amount of my time… I did not truly realize how much of my time it took until I stopped.
The days felt so long. The other problem is that as my alcohol problem grew I lost myself. I stopped doing hobbies and activities that I enjoyed and I eventually pretty much even forgot what they were. I had to get to know myself again and remember exactly what it was that I used to like doing.
I found that some of the things that I used to do I had simply lost interest in for real and other things I couldn’t really do anymore due to age.
I would say in all honesty that this lasted for about eight months in varying degrees. As my mental clarity and health started to return, I rekindled my interest in weightlifting and physical training. That saved my life.
The best advice that I can give is to keep yourself busy. Do anything. Clean out the refrigerator, we organize the pantry, get a second part-time job if you have to. Just don’t let the boredom derail you because it will not last forever… It will end.
November 1 will mark three years of perfect, happy sobriety for me.

I’ve smoked weed religiously since I was In high school im 33 now. I’ve had to put it down 2-3 times for job purposes, drug tests and what not. Every time that happened I was dreading putting it down and couldn’t wait to light up again. After going through this process a few times I realized quitting weed wasn’t easy but when I did (because I didn’t have a choice) I felt so much better. I was more social started to eventually get better sleep ( at first this is rough ) and just felt better in general. When I was younger I could be high all day not high it didn’t make a difference I feel as if when we get older our minds, body and needs change. I simply smoke weed now because it’s what I do. I tell people close to me I can easily put it down and it’s not addictive but that’s a lie. I’m actually going to give this a try for my own sake this time not for a drug test. Great video appreciate you putting this out there.
