Enjoying the ingenuity, my own 'fleet' from '56 to '96 often leads me down an unconventional pathway - I must tap up my local factors for some cork! Who'd have thought, school day. Thank you
Nice Spannering & your dad has proper mechanical engineering skills. Even my 1987 & 1992 old cars, cannot be taken to any old garage, luckily I use a chap at Long Sutton who knows his stuff, when I get stuck
Looks like there may be a few crusty spots underneath that could do with wire brushing and treating. My favoured substance for such areas is chainsaw chain oil.

Those people with mechanical skills are sadly a dying breed - different mechanical culture on modern cars, part replacers.
@@JonCoupland Yes & part replacers far from been Environmentally friendly, profit is king
Always enjoy the videos lm thinking of getting a starter classic. What would you recommend
Thanks for watching - im a fan of a MGB GT as a starter or a Triumph Spitfire

Yes that's a good idea!
Talk about nobley knees 😩
That's what 50 years of being up and down on them on concrete probably does 🤣
