The photorealism is obviously jaw dropping but what I find more amazing how extremely beautiful and well composed the shots are. It really felt like I was in some sort of limbo, uneasy and paranoid - but also in awe of the beauty.
More than the technicality, what is impressive is it shows how much culture you have at such a young age. Detailing and realism is a thing but giving a perceptive mood and feel in a very mature and tasteful way is an exceptional skill that takes ages to acquire. Hoping you'll direct music vids and even big prod movies in the future. Merry Xmas!
Wow, you are a genius, the composition of the shots, the colors, the photorealistic renders, I'm just blown away, you are insanely good at your work. It's exiting to think how far you can get, so keep going and pleasing us with your outstanding creativity

as a fan of experimental audiovisuals in general (including films, music, and graphic works, like photography or paintings), this nails it. also the tone reminds me of some great artists: radiohead (fitter happier), yeule (my name is nat cmiel), aphex twin (for some of his earlier works, like selected ambient works vol.2), bjork (for the design of the masks/faces), shingo tamagawa (puparia, for the mood and composition of the shots), control (the videogame), idk all i can say is congratulations, this is amazing.
Жесть... Как же талантливо сделано. У автора большое будущее. Просто захватывает дух от графики, пейзажей, персонажей, окружения... Очень атмосферно. У этого человека большой талант))
Actually unbelievable and if we are lucky enough for you to stick around and keep making films I guarantee you can change the world of animation, not like you already have but continue into making magic
I have a daughter she's 3 and a new born son, I'm 38, I had a tough childhood, abusive dad, still is. I never miss my childhood. I believe parents play a role in how much belief children have in themselves in observing, thinking, learning, acting and creating. Not that all great minds have had great parents but parents have the opportunity to give their children an opportunity to be really great. I love art that is honest & connects and hate art that is pretentious & obfuscates. "Impetus" connected. Firstly, I am dumbfounded that you have such a highly developed sense of aesthetics and philosophy. Secondly I am amazed at your skill. This at a tender age of 15-16. To me this is supernatural. I was busy aping the latest trend at 16. You reminded me of the stalker's daughter who is capable of the supernatural. The scene with the cigarette butts in the water looked like a scene from Stalker (1979, Tarkovsky) I just want to say that you inspired me to be a better parent and I can only hope that someday my kids turn out as good as you. And I remind myself that you don't have to fit in, you can trust your own voice, you can think independently, you don't need validation. I wish you all the very best and leave you with a Rilke Quote “Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.” From India, With Love
What I like about this, is that it's not just about the horror aspect of this genre of liminal spaces, but it's also about acceptance and moving forward even through fear and turmoil to make the best out of whatever the world might become. I honestly want to see more of what this storyline could offer. And of course, the visuals are stunning!
Holy moly, dude. This is legit the most mind-blowing thing I think I've ever seen. EDIT: just showed this to a friend, he thought I was watching a Netflix show. (He had no idea this was CG)
Absolutely badass! Fantastic work. It's super cool seeing all the details that you put into the lens effects (bokeh and distortion) since so few CG artists actually focus on that stuff.
The visuals, the sound design, the writing. Everything is extraordinary. Everytime I come back to this I'm engulfed in overwelming emotions I didn't know I had.
Dude you are insane! I have been following for a while and every new project blows my mind every time! Your sense of art direction, cinematography, color grading and not to mention all the details you created inside Blender! I can't imagine the time it took and effort to manage all aspects of the scenes, not to mention dealing with physics and rigs that could have gone sideways. Congratulations man, you're just simply next level 🔥
You have such a good understanding about composition, color and light, and the story telling here is really good. Love how you improve your quality with every project you put out!
Wow! You really did an exquisite job. Every aspect of this video is so well-crafted and polished. Not only are the technical aspects impressive, but the refined emotional resonance are also spot-on. Bravo!
Hi William im Younger than 14 and i only use blender because of you! I saw the Podcast with you and Andrew! And i want to say THANK You because you give me the Motivation to use Blender!
Are you seriously just 16 years old? Your work is insane! A reminder to myself to push harder. The more I think about how much you've done at your age the more my head explodes. Like how?
Brilliant work as always. Even my friends (who can't appreciate the subtle details) are amazed. It's one thing to work in a medium like Blender, and it's something totally different to make it 'speak' to people through a conveyed mood or emotion.
Man, the CG is always incredible but what really floors me everytime is the impeccable cinematography, that's even more impressive than the purely technical skill.
Holy frick! This is absolutely amazing!!! Every shot speaks volumes! Not only the realism but everything about the storytelling is 110% as well, actually more like 200% Spectacular
William, your talent is something very few possess; a high mastery of your craft and a passion for excellence. Please, I sincerely hope that you keep that alive as you go forward in life. The inspiration you illicit is truly something spectacular, and suffice it to say your efforts at learning Blender and other various mediums proves that dedication can result in some amazing accomplishments.
It is hard to describe how much I love it. I know that a lot of people say that you have a great talent (and I agree!) but what I also see is a huge amount of work and dedication. Well done!
I am a Korean fan. I started blender at a late age. I was afraid of the future, but looking at your work, my future became more certain. Thank you. Please do a lot of activities.
This is really fantastic work William, so inspiring to see what you are producing in blender. I've read through some of the comments on here, the majority give worthy praise, please ignore the few mindless comments on here. Your work is brilliant, myself and many others are looking forward to seeing what you do in the future, well done mate.
Thanks, William, for inspiring and elevating the Blender community with your amazing talent and willingness to share. Keep up the fantastic work and continue to inspire others 🙏
Its very effective in positioning the viewer in a contemplation. In between everyday life. Gives an impression of photography and novel writing. The message is very honest, gritty and encouraging. Expressing a mass of consciousness. The familiar distractions are loosing their magic indeed. That's why people need to dive deeper in hysteria to drown out the awakening awareness of our time and the huge worldly responsibility coming from both good intentions and tyrannical puppets. LOL The mushroom scene is so interesting.
It's so good and moving on some strange level that it becomes a little disturbing. It has vibe like if it was created by someone who has lived several dozen years and gone through many emotions, life experiences while being fascinated by visual aesthetics and studying it, or some supercomputer that is fascinated by human emotions.
I've reviewed it 10 times, translated the entire text from in the translator since I'm from Russia, it's rare to find such incredibly high-quality content.
This is lovely work. I found out today that you're 16. Woww! I have a background in graphic design and now I'm learning 3d modelling. I'm amazed how you've got a handle on what seems to me to be different skill sets. You must be hard working and of course gifted. Again great work!
I have 15 years experience as VFX compositor in Hollywood but this is just mind-blowing! Congrats, you have a huge talent!!
Mate you started in Hollywood before William could speak 😭
If you think this is good then you fkn suck at your job lmao 😂😂 this should be basic at your level, what the hell have you been doing??? 😂💀
16 year with 20 years of experience. This is the guy HR wants. Awesome work dude
16??? Wow, that's make this more amazing. I'm wonder what he will produce in his 30s to 40s if he's keep pursuing this.
18 year old here with 54 years of vfx experience and i must say i have never seen anything more incredible

The most inspiring and beautiful short I've seen, made with 3d. William, respect! It grabbed me with a bear's force.
Thank you!!!!
Every single shot looks insane🔥
OOOFT! Another fantastic piece. Samsara meets Carl Segan with a Jibaro spice. Epic!
