Definitely going to try these. I made your sesame cookies the other day and they are very good. They didn’t crisp up that much after completely cooling so I baked them again. I over did it a bit and they never got really crispy, but they are still yummy. I think I made them a little bit too thick. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it could be the thickness or something gone wrong. Anyway, try storing them in the fridge or freezer, and they should be crispier straight out of the fridge or freezer
I want to make the sesame cookies, but would like to know if I can use others nuts such as almond or cashews. Not a fan of peanuts, but these cookies look so good. I am going to make the plain version tonight. Thank you for your great recipes. 🙂
I sub 1/3 the weight of almond flour with coconut flour in recipes and let it sit 5 minutes so that the coconut flour absorbs the liquid. Works for me, good luck, :)
Even though you can replace almond flour with coconut flour for most recipes but it is unable to produce a crispy texture for cookies. If you do not mind that, then you can go ahead and use coconut flour. The ratio is 25% of almond flour. Alternatively, if you want the crunch, you can substitute with ground sesame or sunflower seeds or other ground nuts such as pecans, hazelnuts, walnuts etc. at the same ratio.
Thanks Elsie for another easy tasty recipe. 😊❤ I need to make something for a snack and I think this recipe is perfect 🤩 One thing though………since the format for printing your recipes changed …….. I’ve been unable to print them. 🥴 Is there something special I need to do other than hit the print button? 🤔🥴
Thanks, Judith! It's strange that you are unable to print from the website even though the print function is working. When you click the print box on the right the print menu will appear on the left then you click the print button. Did it appear like this on your computer?
@ Hi Elsie, nothing comes up on the left hand side, when I hit the print button on the right ……. the box turns into a thick vertical black line and that’s it ……. nothing else. I am using an IPad … would that make any difference?
Me again 🥴 the non printing must have something to do with using the iPad ……….. my husband removed himself from hogging our desktop computer 🤣 ……. I went into your website, brought up the recipe and it printed …… hooray 🥳. So now I know 🥴🤔 😁. Should have checked out using the desktop prior to contacting you …….. apologies 😞

They look great. Thank you. Can we replace the almond flour with coconut flour?

Whi h if your cookies are best for allulose please
Elise please create other coconut flour cookies. Look yummeh but i'm allergic with almond flour😢
Unfortunately, coconut flour is not suitable for crunchy cookies. You can try subbing with ground sunflower seeds with a 1:1 ratio with almond flour
Thanks Elsie for another easy tasty recipe. 😊❤

@judithlund4346 That's a relief! Was scratching my head trying to figure it out haha.. So glad it's sorted out. Thanks for letting me know, Judith 😊
Hi Elise, Can I sub almond flour with sunflower? Greetings …😊
Yes, you can at the same ratio
Can we use peanut butter for the ground peanuts?
Sorry, I am unable to advise without trying it first 🙏
👍👍👍
