Clemson and NC State squared off in what was the first top 10 battle for two ACC teams in a while the #10 WolfPack and #5 Tigers was fortunate not have to play each other while battling #hurricaneian. Clemson, while missing 75% of its secondary and top d-lineman, #Bryanbresee, managed to hold the Pack to 34 yards rushing, 245 in the air, and forced 2 turnovers. DJ lead the Tiger offense with fantastic passes, incredible decision-making, and superb leadership. The Tigers are now 5-0. Next, Boston College.
I would LOVE to see you and Bobby Dirkens do a show together.
I wanna see our running game get better. I love the qb run but he doesn’t need to carry that ball 15 times against teams like BC.

Now that DJU has vastly improved, and the OLine is a little better, Clemson should be in the Top 4 IMO. Before the Wake game, I doubted Clemson to be ranked better than 15th. Dabo and the coaches, and the players have improved a ton and overcome some serious issues with injuries.
Been around Clemson since the 80s when things were good, then bad, then good again...

When is your secondary coming back from injury? I really feel for you about that, because my Buckeyes are missing some major players and it's tricky. We've put a couple of freshmen and backups in the game, and they're actually doing alright, but we're waiting for personnel to recover from injury.

No matter how you look at it, Leary is not even close to being the QB that Sam Hartman. No way can NCSU attack the secondary like Hartman did. Hartman might be the best QB in the ACC. Also, the TD during garbage time does not indicate how badly Clemson owned a very good NCSU team.
The big thing I saw in the WF game was that our DBs were being out run not so much out played. Either I guys got faster or the NCS has slower WRs.
I wouldn’t call it a thriller. I’m a Clemson fan and I wasn’t ever really worried. Not like the WF game anyways. Wake is better than NC State. After Clemson scored right before the half I knew Clemson was gone win. Clemson dominated the LOS on both sides. And that trash TD NC State scored at the end was a referee TD.
So i'm a little late to the party, I suppose; but I did not see or imagine you sounding like not Bobby Dirkens.
