If you enjoyed this make sure to check out my new Advanced Epic B-Roll video! I'll be posting a BTS soon as I did not have the resources at the time to make one for this cookie video. Keep on creating!
I admire people who can do this kind of b roll. I made a video and it looks cool and easy to do until you try it. That's when you gain a whole new appreciation for planning, timing, and skill. Great job man. I hate the process of creating it but I love the end result
Thank you man! Really appreciate the feedback, great channel you have! Definitely a lot more planning and coordination than meets the eye. It’s always worth it in the end for sure
Thank you Danyel I appreciate it, glad you noticed! I might make a video showing what it sounds like without the track and how I meshed it together. There were about probably 50+ audio fx and sounds used lol
Hey Rodney happy to inspire! Thank you. I will be dropping a more advanced version in the next few hours. Will also be breaking down the shots and a behind the scenes!
great man , nick very smooth and beautiful. since I liked this one so i moved to your channel and checked the zoooooom music video and other stuff you deserve more views , beautiful..
Thank you man! Would you like to see some sort of tutorials like this with editing/filming? Looking to get into making videos about the business side of video production as well
Nick Savino Yea I know what you mean. Honestly it is all about the hustle to get into the business so my advise would be both but if you do want to choose one or the other I would definitely like to see an editing tutorial!
Nick Savino Yes no problem! Over here we are just starting and you can check out our instagram too @htteaminsta if you want! We also had recently made a holiday b roll as well so we are glad to see what others create too.
Thank you for the comment! I really appreciate it. When you say editing break down, would like to see a break down of the whole project? Or more of a couple things within the video? The project is actually quite massive!
Mary Cris Mapeso thanks so much Mary! I just posted a newer broll video that you can find on my channel. I will be posting a behind the scenes and overview for that one soon! It was done in the same manner as this cookie one. Consider subscribing to stay tuned :)
Thank you! Use your wides aperture so in your case would be an f4. Also, Zoom in to at least 35mm to create more depth. The farther you zoom in the more bokeh you'll have!
Great Job man! So cool seeing a process of making festive food and how naturally the colours look especially at 1:31🔥I really dig the natural camera movements, and the transition at 0:54⚡️I just dropped a short film on my channel and would really appreciate a critique on it from someone who's obviously experienced. Great Job again man! :)
Amazing man ! loved it . I have a question for you , it might be an obvious one but , I am a sony a6500 user as well and when I shoot 1080p 100fps with the Sigma 16MM F1.4 or other lenses the quality of my videos really sucks , I mean I have noise in the image as soon as bump my ISO to what ? 500 .. I only use a DIY softbox (ahha) for now but would it be the answer ? A good light will solve the problem ? Thank you. I don;t want to promotize anything here but if could check one of for example "Playing Dice B-roll video" you will see what I mean , on this video natural light only were used.. Thanks so much for your time ! Stay safe !
DimTravel hey man thanks for the comment! I checked out the video, and I actually didn’t think the noise was bad at all! For this video I was using anywhere between 500-1000 ISO. When it comes to filmmaking lighting is your best friend. If you have good light, you will have good video (obviously there’s more to this but on a basic level it’s true). If you’re using a DIY lighting setup, that is most likely the case. The quality and output of light greatly effects camera capabilities. For this video I used the Aputure 120dii with the softbox dome which is an incredibly good light for filmmaking. So I would highly suggest getting a light of some sort! If you’re on a budget, check out the option Godox has. Hope this helps!
@@NickSavino thank you very much for your time Nick it's much appreciated ! Yeah I thought about the goddox SL60 with a huge light dome... light light light ! :) What is your "detail" on the 1080p PP please ?
@@DimitriAbrazard Honestly I'm not too sure, I believe its -3, or something close to that. I usually keep it a little below 0 and then just add some sharpening in back in post! You never want to use a lot of the camera own sharpening. Hope this helps :)
Thank you Ralph! I actually don’t know the name of the song. I got it off Morion Array since I have a subscription. It was literally called “Holiday Hip Hop Beat” or something like that but I thought it would fit perfectly lol

I have been trying to make b roll like this for a while lol.. I have the shots down pretty good but editing is killing me.Trying to make the transitions look so seamless is really difficult.. Your video looks great!!
