    Good afternoon Rayon.
    I think I would not at least 16 550 w panels and a 8 kwh inverter with 10 to 15 kW battery storage.
    My roof space however is not ideal.
    Do you do ground mount systems?

    Can a home be independently powered without JPS, as in totally solar powered?

    • @LordDarkone
      @LordDarkone 6 месяцев назад +2

      You can always build and use solar only but its always recommended to have JPS as a backup still. You can use either solar or JPS as backup source but its always recommended to have a backup. And remember you can earn money by feeding excesses power into the JPS grid.

    Will those batteries cover the ac at nights?

    • @RayonWhittaker
      @RayonWhittaker  Год назад

      Depends on the number of AC units running at the same time as well as their sizes in btu.
      This will determine the number of batteries required.

    the 1.6 is paid for the system and you still have a monthly bill? or the monthly payments are just increments to the 1.6? kinda like an installment plan

      25000 × 12mths × 5½ years = $1.65M

    And remember, solar power systems are so good now, that they will last you for the rest of your life, maybe even passed on to your children and grandchildren. Perhaps with only the batteries being changed every 10-20 years.
