      It has taken on multiple forms over the past years, and we have played out the latest iteration of it at superbooth - if you come see us there, or at a convention like Dutch Modular Fest or Barcelona Modular Day, you can play a version of it. We're still looking for its final form though, so it still might be taking some time in development.

      Hi, we showed it at our booth at Superbooth. We were outside in one of the tents in the 'Zeltwald'

    hi,whats that gear? can you tell me?the right side one. And what modular you are using?

      From left to right: Fred's Lab Zekit (silver), Elektron Digitone (black), Making Sound Machines Stolperbeats (black module with LEDs). The little white box is a MeeBlip cubit 4-port MIDI splitter. The eurorack skiff at the top is our secret drum voice.

    It's got a dilla knob, can it do a bernard purdie style shuffle? Or is that just mixing in different levels of regular shuffle and using different layers to cause accents?

      @MakingSoundMachines  2 года назад +2

      It kind of can, you need to select a shuffle based on 3 or 6 - the fifth shuffle should get you there. Then program a pattern with halftime snares and the upbeat in the Kick. Finally you'd probably need to add a branches or euclidean circles to the subdiv out to get exactly what Purdie is doing - the cool thing he does is distribute hits all over the 12 / 8. It's a super fun idea, haven't thought about it before! God call!

      let's be honest he also glosses over a lot of really cool things he does in that video 😀
