Exactly anyones thought that has watched or read S&W and I'm glad you think that way. The season 2 will cover volumes 5, 6, and potentially 8 and 9 if they decide to make it 24 episodes again. With maybe a few ovas inbetween showing the side color volumes (such as volume 7). I really am glad you enjoyed this series as much as I did. If you can't wait for the next season, I would be happy if you could react to ep 7-12 for season 2 of the original as it adapts volume 5 which is the next arc we will see once season 2 comes out. Of course you don't have to do so but if you do end up reacting to it due to either out of curiosity or impatience like me (I mean I say impatience like I didn't just wait almost a decade and a half for this remake) but since I know its confirmed, it brings home the point that I will be waiting anxiously for season 2. I promise you, these next arcs will be very different yet the same adventure. Especially after volume or arc 5, the story shifts a little but in a good way. We'll get to that bridge when you react to it. But until then, you'll definitely won't be dissapointed for whats to come. Thanks again Lenard for reacting to my and many others favorite series ever and I cannot thank you and other reaction creators enough for giving me the joy of seeing others feel happiness for these S&W reactions.
Lol, don't worry about the reply; I'm truly happy to have been able to follow your such spontaneous and genuine reactions to this series that is so special to me. It was really entertaining! Unfortunately, I no longer have the same time as I had years ago to follow more than one or two anime per season. For this same reason, I had even stopped making comments and actively participating in discussions in the community. I only made an exception for Spice and Wolf because it was the one that really introduced me to the world of anime. However, now maybe I'll show up in the comments of some other series next season since it fired me up a bit like in the old days. Putting that aside, it's incredible how the end of this arc (volume 4) doesn't feel like a finale at all; this time it was very clear why the original decided to adapt volume 5 instead of this, which has a more noticeable air of a conclusion. However, even if there was no immediate announcement of a second season, which by the way was almost like a soothing for the souls of the fans. I would still think that this open ending would fit the theme of the series; after all, SnW is all about the journey and not the destination. And as Holo also said, "The secret to a good journey is to take your time and enjoy it."
Glad you were fired up and you always have good comments (and general good energy) so hope you’ll continue to comment in other series whether my channel or others 😊. I feel you on time 😅 struggle to keep up with a lot of anime when you have life and other things happening. I barely stay a float doing 5/6 anime 🫠. Really happy again with this series it was amazing and looking forward to Season 2 when it does come 😌
For me, this show is a series a small but genius details. There is no big world ending plot, nothing exceptionally grand. It's a long, character focused road trip. And if that aint it for someone, thats okay. But this story is one of these, that the more you think about it and the more you read into it, the greater it becomes. Every small character exploration or find or clever business mystery plot just adds to this amazing blend of a wonderful (cozy) story and I'm super stoked we got the confirmation for even more! Hope to see you around when S2 drops!
Completely agree! The series can be described for me as someone who cooks as using a slow cooker. It takes time and you wont get result immediately. Longer you let the food cook the more you start to get the aroma and suddenly are left with an amazing dish! This series takes time but the deeper you get and the more you resonate with the characters the better it will be.
I may be in the minority but I did not really think the show was all that great. I never appreciated how Lawrence treated Holo like a commodity or something to be traded/bargained for. Glad you enjoyed it but it not for me.
Hey nothing wrong with a different view lol. I personally didn’t see Lawrence treat Holo as just a commodity, he isn’t perfect and made mistakes but generally speaking was always pretty respectful towards her.

@@lenardgj1x214 To me he is like so many other MC's ignoring the obvious signs she is giving him.
