I hope you guys enjoyed my basic stage control guide! It's a project that I've had planned for months now, I just haven't had the time to record it until this weekend. A special thanks to TheReviled and Coach Cosmic for helping me learn about stage control so I could make this video for you guys, their links are below. Thanks for the guide! Any tips on how to deal with players spamming moves with insane priorities? Eg bow backdash slight or scythe/axe float and dair while covering their landing with weapon throws
My pleasure! When someone is spamming a move like that, just let them do it. Oftentimes they will spam their move, let’s say axe Dair, and they miss. If you try to punish they’ll wakeup Nlight or Dlight you. So instead, wait for their whiffed Dair, then ALSO wait for the wakeup, or whatever panic option (like they spam jumps or spot dodge right after), and then punish that. Just because they whiffed doesn’t mean it’s optimal to punish them. Take your time, and see how they react right after whiff, and punish that. Hope that helps!
@@vynperm thanks! Great guide as always, really meticulous. Often when I get close to the opponent I feel more pressured to act (by dodging/jumping) instead of baiting that out from my opponent. Seems like keeping a cool head and knowing the opponent's options is the key. Love your content and hope your channel blows up one day :)
This is a good guide for all ranks and I managed to learn quite a few things! Keep up the good work and we’ll support you even though your upload schedule isn’t daily, they still count for all videos. Also potential Q and A question, are you roommates with ‘The Boys’ in your discord server as Hozbal said ‘coming home,’ but I won’t judge you cos ngl I wanna be roommates with my friends as I don’t want to leave them, the memories will hurt. ily and your vids!
Thank you for your understanding ❤️ And actually no, we’re just very close online friends. I actually don’t even know them irl, we just play together all the time. Good question!
I just wanna tell you guys when you play if you lose you got outplayed. As soon as I picked up this mentality I got up to diamond once again and I was stuck. Usually I just get into the range where they need to move to hit me and see how they react to my pressure that's an easy wya to understand neutral.
Underrated advice. Sometimes it’s hard to accept your losses, but that’s the only way to truly improve both as a player and a competitor. Mental game is everything
Please Vyn, Im one of your early subscribers, Please can you do an updated axe guide, please its also one of my best weapons to play BTW, I main Barazza
Agreed. But imagine the day when I debut as “Coach Perm” I’m just scratching the surface with these videos. Y’all should see me when I’m analyzing replays with others 👀
