  • In this easy to follow demo, Jane Slivka shows how she paints the effect of bright sunlight hitting her subjects' skin and clothing. She also shows how she creates different skin tones and what colors she mixes to achieve them. Watching her paint with her signature loose and free strokes and her bold color palette are mesmerizing to view. You will want to try it. So have fun, relax and enjoy the process. It is only a painting.

    A thanks for sharing this lovely video Jane! I read that you is Liquitex paints. Would you consider them to be a matte finish do closer to satin? Just curious. I haven’t used Liquitex as I do a bit of sanding in my works and afraid to try anything that I don’t know will be able to sand.

    • @freedomofacrylicswithartis5133
      @freedomofacrylicswithartis5133  11 месяцев назад +1

      I like to use Liquitex acrylic heavy body paint. It pretty much dries to a matte finish. If you want a satin finish, you can spray it with varnish.
