i commented a couple videos ago on powerlifting form, but i left out the most important part - if you’re failing maxes and you’re okay with it, and you’re enjoying the gym and focusing on improving, then your attitude will make up for any mistakes. Attitude and bouncing back are more important than any specific technique or plan

Walk a little bit longer each day and soon enough you'll have way more energy to put into lifting, maybe running (not my bag) and even wanting to eat better because you feel better. Always remember to stretch... and stretch and stretch. Good luck. You can do it.
Ian maxing out on the bench press too frequently can lead to overtraining, increased risk of injury, and hinder progress due to insufficient recovery time. Make sure you’re building strength, not demonstrating it. I’d hate to see you take one step forward just to take two steps backwards. I know I’m just some random on the internet, but I wish someone had told me this sooner. Credentials: At 6’3” 190 I was able to run a 5k (Marine Corps PFT) in 20:56 AND total 1,300 IN a Powerlifting Meet within the span of 2 weeks. Pressing PR’s include: -325 Paused Bench (in competition) -+225 Weighted Dip -225 STANDING Overhead Press -130 x 5 on Low-Incline DB Press -AMRAP w/ 225 on Bench = 15 -295 Incline Barbell
8:39 this small sequence just goes to show why the musketeer is so op and underrated. Survived a void at 1 hp, destroyed the fisherman and still got a shot on the tower when the hog didn't. Damn

Congrats on 245lb bench Ian!! I been going to the gym since May 2023 but things got busy in college and exams late in the semester. I was planning on going full send this summer in the gym, but I pulled my groin stopping myself from tripping down a hill 💀💀💀. Its gonna be all gas no brakes once I heal, which may take a month or two 😭
