This was really funny also kinda sad. I wish they’d be honest with each other when they’re not drunk.

The reason why Sin-Yu fell in love with Hong-Jo was because she listened to him. If you noticed the series Hong-Jo knows a lot more of him than Sin-Yu does to her. The father does not listen, and the girlfriend does not either. No matter what he says to her that he needs a break or a space, she still insists on going to his place and wants to decorate his house and propose a marriage The same goes for his best friend but his mom. His mother listens to him and they have a good relationship. He saw that with Hong-Jo. She is not that smart but naive in a sense of sweetness like his mom. Sin-Yu has everything in life, looks, money, and is highly educated. He did not want to have a woman who looked like a model, known in society, or at the same level as he was. He has all the above. He needs Hong-Jo, a simple woman who makes his heart beat fast, makes him happy, makes him smile, and makes him cry/sad when she is sad. That is love and they are destined to be. It has nothing to do with Love Potion or the Book of Spells. My opinion. Love these two, the chemistry is overloaded! This is going to be a CLASSIC!
Excellent summary. Love it. Plus the issue of control. His life is always controlled by everyone, from his family dynasty to his work and wedding date set by family. He tries to free himself by resigning from the high end legal firm and breaking off with the girlfriend but she (plus his family) just carry on and plan his life (as you rightly pointed out). Then along comes this delightful civil servant who's free, not of high status and not subject to all these controlling rules and he's genuinely interested and engaged. Love the story.

Rowoon is so handsome but its also his acting that is top tier, loving this drama and his portrayal of someone falling in love - this episode was one of the best especially the scenes with him and the other guy being so petty 😂😂
Bro this scene was so sad to me 😭😭😭 like it feels like he's being shameless by following her around when he's taken, but the fact he's kept the cold indifferent contact name shows he's really trying his best to keep the distance but can't always help himself and its just 💔
This is a charming story.
Predictable and a bit “same old, same old”, however the acting and the way the story is presented, is charming and attention grabbing! MHO.
Besides the fact than Rowoon is simply stunning and he is getting better and better as an actor.
She is adorable and charming as well, a bit of a doormat, however not as much as in many dramas. She has some fighting spirit! 👌

No, no, it's not that Groot is her favourite character. In Ep 3, Jang Shin Yu had said Groot's line "I am Groot" to her. That time because of the love spell's effect he used to chase after her, give her company, say cheesy pickup lines with a totally straight face. She misses that side of Shin Yu. That's why she said Shin Yu's Groot phase was her favourite but now he's cold and doesn't seem to care for her anymore and she feels lonely again.

I don't like it, this kind of character dose not qualified to be a hero and heroin. Make it better don't let people think that if a hero be like this it's fine for me to be jerk too it's not that bad. Please creat character with more moral and honesty, and let people idolize them.
If every main character has to be perfect, then it will become boring coz there won't be character growth.
Sometimes, characters do things that go against our principles. If you can accept it and still continue to watch, then good. If you cannot accept it and want to drop the drama, that's fine. But viewers should NOT be idolizing a fictional character, let alone blindly idolizing them.
Viewers should have minds of their own. They should be able to tell right from wrong. If they don't, then perhaps they need parental guidance.
This isn't an educational kids programme. This is a kdrama that involves adults facing adult situations and making adult choices. It will involve a lot of gray area because that's how reality is too.
There may be kdramas with hero and heroine who are absolutely morally right and are perfect. But this isn't that kind of drama.
