I love documentaries and your film is one of the best I have viewed! Thank you for sharing the stories of the daily lives of our Marines. Keep them coming! Great Job!
That documentary is absolutely incredible work! I'd already commented but when I saw your name in the credits, I was shocked to you as the poster. I guess I'm so used to watching ripped off DVD documentaries here on YT. Since I'm already on about something, with regard to the master chief, I couldn't help but feel torn. I felt torn between seeing him as wanting so hard to do good and to help (and him knowing he was damn good and could) and for him being almost akin to a drug user; knowing what he was doing was killing him inside but not being able to stop. Maybe it was both. Regardless, excellent work in producing that movie, sir and thank you for sharing it with the world. Subscribed and looking forward to watching the pieces on Vietnam
Omg who the fuck cares about the chiefs humor. Jesus people are too soft now. That chief is the best person in the whole documentary, he is honestly a saint. He didn't have to help those people the way he was he didn't have to try to put that clinic together and fix it. That man has seen and done more shit in his life than 200 lesser men could even dream of. He has earned every bit of any type of humor he has. The people that were pissed off about that chief for sure havent seen 1/10th the shit he has or they would STFU because they would understand how great of a man he is for being able to deal with shit like that. Man has to deal with dead and dying children, had to deal with having friends and colleagues die in front of him without being able to save them. Literally the story about his first casualty gives this chief a pass for the darkest humor imaginable. He met the pregnant wife of the marine who was crushed under the fuel tanker that he knew wasn't going home. He knew in that moment that there was a woman, a mother, that was going to raise a child without a father, and a child thats father it would never met because he had died halfway around the world in front of this corpsman and there wasnt a damn thing he could do about it. I hope this man is mentally ok and able to deal with everything he has seen and done.
