"Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the light. Then people began to fight over it. They wanted to keep it for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world disappeared. But small fragments of light survived... in the hearts of children. With these fragments of light, children rebuilt the lost world. It's the world we live in now. But the true light sleeps deep within the darkness. That's why the worlds are still scattered, divided from each other. But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open. And the true light will return. So listen, child. Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you. Believe in the light, and the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with its power and push the darkness away." - Kairi's Grandmother
Aeternitas Ankondrivah Since Kairi loves hearing that story from her grandmother, does anybody think she may have some knowledge on the Lost Masters and the Keyblade War?
+David Timmer No, but I think Kairi will play a vital role at the end of Kingdom Hearts III, Xehanort probably defeats Sora and Riku and Kairi discovers the "key" to bringing her friends back from the darkness and together they defeat Master Xehanort.
This is without a doubt the most beautiful version of Kairi's theme I've heard!! I LOVE the little hint of Roxas's theme at 1:58 (a reference to their discussion in Day 4, I guess?), mixed with Xion's beautiful theme (well, obviously because of their connection)^^ I love how this song portrays all the moments Kairi has been through, the good and the bad ones! Oh, and that hint of Riku's theme is a very nice touch too!
Kairi's also connected to Roxas... Because Xion, Namine, Roxas, and her freedom at Hollow Bastion...all basically the same root cause. Sora letting his heart go to save hers.
Riku please tell me more about Sora and that girl he's always with. You mean Kairi. Kairi... that's right. She's the one who looks so much like me. To Sora, she's someone very special
So lovely, almost reminiscent of classical pieces, and Xion's part in the piece was so well put and very good interpretation of Kairi's kind and loving nature, while still wanting to be a part of the big fight against Xehanort. Just simply put, very beautiful melody and instrumentation. Whoever disliked this has no life. Keep up the beautiful work Project Destati
This was simply amazing. Really, I stood up in my room and clapped, this was mind-blowingly amazing. I usually try to be measured in my compliments, but just wow. Well done.
Really beautiful score. I like how you add so much more complexity to each songs. Kairi's theme is no exception, where there are more low parts, which is not a thing in her original theme. It's fun to see the bright and the darker side of the song, which calls also to the character. I really makes you feel like you can discover the whole character'sstory only throught this music you do. I'm wowing in front of this. Good job again.
I always come back to this song. I first heard in in 2018 while waiting for KH3 to come out. I was starting my first year of college. Now here i am in 2024 starting my final year and iit still fills me with the same warmth it did before

That Xion motif feels like it literally hit me in the chest. Then the one from The Other promise was like a gutpunch what I mean to say is this is really good and I might purchase it later down the line
By chance is there a smidgen of Roxas in this? Reason being that I've been listening to this song nonstop and hum to it. Occasionally though, I subconsciously hum Roxas's theme and I realize it. I believe it's at 1:57
I wonder why you put the order of the main character's themes started with Sora's, then Kairi's, and ended with Riku's. Not that this order is uncommon, but usually, people called the trio in this order: Sora first, Riku in the middle, then Kairi last. In the soundtrack, Kairi's theme is first, then Sora's, and finished with Riku's. I do wonder..... Is it just a coincidence or do you references how important they (Sora and Kairi) are to each other? I don't mind about your "less common" order though. Anyway, thanks a lot for this. This remix, alongside the HD 2.5 ReMIX one, guarantees her the top spot of my favorite character overall, just close to Master Xehanort. Talking about Xehanort, can you do a "remix", or whatever you call it, of his themes (Master Xehanort's and Xehanort ~The Early Years~) in one of your future albums? Again, thanks a lot.

This story also inspired Sora to keep fighting and believe in the light.

+Luis Lopez Oh, your grandma's story, right?
David Timmer There are always three right?
Xehanort, Eraqus, and Kairi's Grandmother... @,@

I like that in all of your character themes you can hear someone else's theme, if even just for a moment.
Sora... Don't ever change...
This was simply amazing. Really, I stood up in my room and clapped, this was mind-blowingly amazing. I usually try to be measured in my compliments, but just wow. Well done.

Breath-taking
I like this version better than the version in the actual game!
That Xion motif feels like it literally hit me in the chest.

absolutely beautiful!
You know it's a good song when it manages to give you goosebumps. Excellent work!
Kairi...I know you. You're that girl he likes.
By chance is there a smidgen of Roxas in this? Reason being that I've been listening to this song nonstop and hum to it. Occasionally though, I subconsciously hum Roxas's theme and I realize it. I believe it's at 1:57
And Xion's theme for just a few seconds, right before that.
*Thinking of you where every you are*
*one sky one Destiny*
Do I sense a little bit of Xion's theme or any 358/2 days in this perhaps?! Oh this is marvelous! You must do Xion's theme! You're just too awesome!!
Xion has some of kairi's theme, just like Roxas has some of Sora's.
And there's a Roxas them too in Kairi them 💕😭
I really like this :D.
Wow. This music is so peaceful! Will you do Naminè's theme next time?
1:57 gives me goosebumps fam
ROXAS THEM IN 1:58 💕😍💕😍💕😍💕😍😍💕😍💕
Wonderful.
Was kinda hoping you'd throw in Aqua's theme somewhere kinda like you threw in Terra's for Riku's theme. Still an amazing track though!
Without kairi sora wouldn't have the motivation to kick ass
Imagine someone would start an Anime about Kingdomhearts and took this sound as the Intro 🤩❤️
Kinda sounds like Aria of The Soul from Persona at 3:05
Why y'all gotta tug my tears?

I cri so much
Maybe, I never gave her a real present after.
