    Bocce to find you on you tube. You’re nearly 60! Am nearly 68. Survivors. Glad I got your merch all sold 02,03 on the uk tour. No idea why the boss thought I was going to write a story about it, I didnt ever say that! Sounds like a typical made up thing. Knew you would keep going. I told someone was glad you were asked to do it, you brought a really competent full sound which I think was needed at the time. Keep going college boy haha!

    So great to have a video again. Thanks for the great advice re practice and, effectively, how to help yourself find your 'voice'.

    Nice! A roller nut on the Beck strat, does it do anything special?

      Stays in tune better,but its made for 009-max 046 strings so I have aproblem with the G string not staying in tune when I use 010-046 strings. Solution: I use a 016 G string on this guitar 😎

    Love the sound of the blue (?) Strat. Which year. Is it custom shop? Looking forward to your new album.

      That's my -63 Strat, original execpt for the electronics which are all done by Kloppmann Elctrics (I believe at the moment, 54 bridge, 67 middle and 60 neck pickups + dummy coil.

      @@bengranfelt9519 Thanks Ben. The tone is just how it should be to my ears. Pick-ups seem to be well balanced, which can be a never ending quest if you know what I mean. Good luck with the album! Richard.

    Hey Benny, it looks that producing a new album takes the juices out of 'any' guy. So why not you too?
    Hopefully you had a succesful tour in 2023 with your knew album.
    I remember when Juha Björninen made long time ago a great instrumental guitar cd in N.Y. With top producers.
    Lasse Norres fucked up the release marketing of the cd. He forgot it. So no one ever heard his great music on radio channels.
    Shit happens. Hope you had better luck with 'Gratitude'. ✌️

    A very interesting Video! Thanks! Do You use a compressor ? And how load do You play, while You do the recordings?

    • @bengranfelt9519
      @bengranfelt9519  Год назад +1

      Hi Siggi, I only use a compressor with clean sounds. When I record I use the Amp1-Blubox-protools no cabinet. I do connect a "dummy" plug into the speaker out on the blubox... Thomas Blug told me to do that ;) There is a slight difference in the high end but to be honest if someone would unplug it during recording I probably wouldn't notice it... anyway master volume on the Amp1 is between 5-6 so just over halfway to push the powersection a bit.

    Hello Ben- is the Amp1 Boost off? Do you have the Gain on 10 or are you using drive pedals? Sounds great! Thanks

    Hey Ben, do you ever Travis pick?

    • @bengranfelt9519
      @bengranfelt9519  Год назад

      No, I only use Dunlop Delrin.96 picks with a custom logo. Not really interested in any other picks to be honest...
