- With Subiefest California being Bucky’s home town event he didn’t hold back with representing his Subaru passion and brought 5 of his personal builds including the newest XT6 that he recently restored in 3 weeks time. Vermont sports car also brought along his RX car Betty for ride alongs that turned the autocross course into a smoking drift show. We really love these Subaru purist events and making these videos for you to watch. This was my first subiefest. Great experience and Bucky you were so cool to autograph my skateboard. Tanuki’s design is sick and he’s a cool dude as well. I got last years deck too. I’m looking forward to next year and maybe a new design! I want them all.

Awesome Bucky. I wish I could’ve been there! I’m looking to get some Cobb mods soon on my ‘23 VB. Starting with an intake tube, charge pipe and pitch stop. My little wish list for now and I’d love to do a Borla Exhaust or maybe Cobb titanium.

I got in to Soobs because of my Brat. I love that you can actually work on them. PLUS, the engine is pointed in the correct direction.
Hoping to make it next year with my widebody blobeye wagon! I got into subies after i drove my 97 impreza l wagon through a snowy ditch at 55mph to avoid an accident. She drove up and out no problem(still made it to work on time too). Since then ive owned 49 Subarus now!

I wanted an Audi and couldn’t afford it. 😂
But grew up in the PNW so VW’s and Subarus weren’t rust buckets and cheap and easy to work on as kids.
