My 2021 GMC Denali just took a CRAP!! Not the lifters or push rods. But inside the base of the engine they think it's the bearings on the drive-shaft that moves the pistons up & down. $14 KKKKK bill - and on back order. Out of 397 back order, I'm number 307. Based on my calculations, it will be January 27, 2025 before I can get an engine. Touch part is that I need my SUV for my job as I travel the highways. Only had 121,000 miles. UGH!!!! What now?
Same thing happened to us , and had to disconnect the battery and it worked just fine !!! Toke it to dealer they said my battery is dead 😅 had to pay for a new one although it’s under warranty and service contract is still valid
WTH is it with GM and electrical gremlins, I have a 2017 XT5, thermostat problem, take battery cable off put it back on good to go. I had a 05 Yukon same crap with the a/c blend doors, it just never ends.
The engine in my 2023 Yukon Ultimate just failed at 30K miles, had to get towed like in this video. Perfect maintenance, premium gas only, mobile one synthetic oil changes every 5K. Shop says bad lifters, misaligned camshaft, bad serpentine belt. Total engine replacement needed, 6 weeks repair time. Bravo GMC!!!
They could be BSing you. I was told by GMC that they have to replace my transmission. I didn't have the money to afford it, so I decided to drive till it broke. That was back in 2018. My truck still pulling through at 212,000 miles.
Man, I am so sorry. I can't believe what they charge us for these SUV's and we can't even get any decent mileage out of them. Really SUCKS! And in the end, we can't really do anything other than go shopping else where.
My 2023 ultimate Denali is junk after 9 months of non stop trips to the dealership over technical issues. 16000 km and 12000 dollars in paint chips. Absolutely garbage
I lived in Iraq and I see people had to replace the engine of car like these….all of companies say because of bad benzene and now I see exactly same problem in USA….any one know if the sierra with same issue???
After 3 months my brand new SIERRA had an engine and transmission. I’m suing GMC for a new car. i’m suing GMC for a new car My videos are coming soon..
Buy the Duramax diesel Yukon and you won’t have those problems. The pushrods on the gas engines get bent easily.
Just had my engine replace on my 22 Denali. Let's hope the new engine doesn't take a 💩.
Wow
Same 2023 suburban high country 20k miles

So what was the cause of this problem? Did you have to change to engine or transmission. What caused this issue in first place??
Disconnecting the battery is cheaper than actually having to get all that stuff fixed, so I guess its a small price to pay...free.

That’s because you’re leaving the key inside the vehicle. You can turn off that feature in the infotainment settings.
